5. evice within the section 4 Terminal block for connection to the Legrand 2 wire digital system BUS 5 Terminal block for connection to a panic or remote assistance pushbutton 6 Local preset tamper for anti tampering device item 6831 64 3 Installation 3 1 Installation using the flush mounting box To install the anti tampering device item 6831 64 cut the tamper stem on the first reference mark insert it in its seat rotate 90 and remove it completely Check that there is no damage by the tamper stem area at the bottom of the flush mount ing box otherwise replace After completing all connections secure the device to the flush mounting box Ensure that the cables are positioned in such a way that they will not be damaged Use a small pressure to fit the plate on the device 4 Configuration The Alarms Notification Module is capable of handling 8 independent contacts and one ad ditional contact dedicated to panic alarm signals PANIC Each contact can be enabled and disabled its state enabled disabled alarmed is shown by the relevant LED for the mean ing of the various signals refer to the User Manual on the LEDs light signals section The contacts can serve different purposes depending on their configuration In their basic configuration contacts 1 5 handle burglar alarms and contacts 6 to 8 are for the three technical fault alarms gas leak fir

8. specified in the configuration the alarm notification will be sent to the Handset and to the Switchboard where it will be displayed e After sending the notification the acoustic signal will stop the input LED will continue to stay on but flashing will become slow Technical Fault Alarm e When the Alarms Notification Module detects the activation of an enabled technical fault input the LED assigned to that input will turn red and start flashing quickly The device will also emit an acoustic signal which will be repeated every second After the time delay specified in the configuration the alarm notification will be sent to the Handset and to the Switchboard where it will be displayed e After sending the notification the acoustic signal will stop the input LED will continue to stay on but flashing will become slow PANIC Alarm e The Panic alarm has its own dedicated input This is connected to button 9 on the keypad The alarm will be generated by pressing the panic button on the keypad or by activating the PANIC input Like any other input also this one can be deactivated by chocking However the alarm will also be sent when the system is disarmed 6 Checking that the system is working correctly When the Alarms Notification Module receives a panic alarm signal the buzzer will emit an acoustic signal for 10 seconds fixed delay The signal will then be sent to the Handset and to the Switchboard irrespective of the actu
9. supply by pressing the P key for 10 seconds during which the P key led will become red and start flashing slowly After 10 seconds the P key LED will become orange and continue flashing indicating that the status of the inputs and saved transponders have been deleted and that the factory set user code has been reinstated A The setting up procedure for the codes and the transponders can be found in the User Manual 12 6 Checking that the system is working correctly Once the installation procedure of the Alarms Notification Module is complete check that everything is working correctly 1 Inputs Enabling Disabling The enabling disabling status of the inputs can only be changed when the system is deactivated e Press the button of the disabled input to enable it and vice versa e Press the 0 button to enable disable all inputs 2 System Arming Disarming e Press the C button enter the codice 12345 or run the Trasponder by the reader to change the status of the systemo e The P will be Off system armed ON green system disarmed 3 Checking the handling of alarms Activate all connected contacts Burglary alarm e When the Alarms Notification Module detects a change in the contact from an enabled and delayed burglary input the LED assigned to that input will turn red and start flashing quickly The device will also emit an acoustic signal which will be repeated every second After the time delay
