1. Make sure that the wires of thermocouple 2 cannot come into contact with hot parts Connect the ignition cable to the receiver see fig 21 arrow A Connect power a When using batteries see section 7 1 1 below When using an adapter connect it to the receiver see fig 21 arrow C insert the plug into the wall socket lt Place the receiver V the control box as indicated on fig 22 Bend the antenna out of the clips see fig 21 arrow Set the antenna straight cis 14 METRO 100 XT 2 INSTALLATION MANUAL Kaution Do not place the antenna too close to the ignition cable and or metal parts for the correct position see fig 22 Donot place the ignition cable over and or along metal parts this will weaken the spark Donotlay the ignition cable over the receiver this could damage the receiver Avoid dust on or in the receiver cover it when performing work 7 1 1 Placing replacing the batteries ec Follow the procedure below when placing the batteries Open the door of the control box Pick up the receiver gt Slide the cover off gt Place or remove the 4 penlite AA type batteries Kaution Avoid short circuit between the batteries and metal objects parts Observe the and poles of the batteries and the holder Use alkaline batteries Slide back the cover Place back the receiver Kau

Remove this plate Place the baffle Use the template supplied to set the distance of the restriction see fig 10 as follows A distance of 33 mm means that the baffle is closed to a maximum level Adistance of 38 43 and 48 mm is set by means of the template Fix the baffle by using the socket cap screw U Place back the middle plate 6 8 2 Air inlet guide L The air inlet guide L is located at the bottom side of the tray M surrounding the burner If you want to remove them proceed as follows see fig 11 Take the tray surrounding the burner out of the appliance Unscrew the self tapping screws N and remove them Remove the air inlet guide Fit the tray surrounding the burner back in the appliance 6 9 Placing the wood pebble set The appliance is supplied with a wood set or a pebble set The vermiculite that is used to fill the burner tray is black when using the wood set and has a natural colour when using the pebble set The figures do not always show the correct colours Strictly observe the following instructions to prevent unsafe situations only ever use the supplied wood pebble set place the wood pebble set exactly as described make sure the pilot burner and the space around it are kept free from objects see fig 12a and fig 12b make sure that thermocouple 2 and the space around it are kept free from objects see fig 13a and fig 13b make sure that the slot between the burner

Pr fen Sie ob sich das Ger t f r den rtlichen Gastyp und den fraglichen Gasdruck eignet 6 3 Gasanschluss In den Gasanschluss muss ein Gashahn eingebaut werden und zwar in unmittelbarer N he des Ger ts LO Darauf achten dass die Gasleitungen und Anschl sse sauber sind und keine Verunreinigungen aufweisen Beim Anschlie en der Gasleitung darauf achten dass der Gashahn nicht verdreht wird F r den Gasanschluss gelten die folgenden Auflagen Die Gasleitung muss so dimensioniert werden dass kein Druckverlust auftreten kann Der Gashahn ist mit einer CE Marke versehen Der Gashahn ist immer erreichbar 6 4 Aufbau des Ger ts Achtung Bei brennbaren Gegenst nden beziehungsweise Materialien ist ein Sicherheitsabstand von mindestens 500 mm vom Ger t einzuhalten Installieren Sie das Ger t an einer Wand aus feuerfestem w rmebest ndigem Material Ergreifen Sie angemessene Schutzma nahmen um sicherzustellen dass sich die Wand hinter dem Kaminumbau und auch die Materialien beziehungsweise Gegenst nde die sich hinter der R ckwand befinden nicht zu stark aufheizen Am Ger t d rfen keine nderungen vorgenommen werden Achtung Ber cksichtigen Sie die Justierh he des Ger ts diese richtet sich nach der L nge der Standf e siehe Abb 1 Befestigen Sie eventuelle Verl ngerungsst tzen mit Selbstbohrschrauben Ber cksichtigen Sie die minimale Innentiefe des Ger ts beim Metro 100 XT 2 sind das 454 mm

Scheiben mit einem feuchten Tuch oder einem nicht scheuernden Reinigungs mittel wie beispielsweise Kupferputzmittel entfernen Fingerabdr cke auf den Scheiben sind zu vermeiden beziehungweise m ssen entfernt werden da diese andernfalls einbrennen Zerbrochene oder gesprungene Scheiben gem der Beschreibung im Absatz 6 10 auswechseln LO Je nach Bedarf den Holzrahmen wieder korrekt einsetzen Einzelheiten sind dem Absatz 6 9 zu entnehmen Die Abgasab Verbrennungsluftzuf hrung inspizieren LO Dabei ist immer auch eine Endkontrolle erforderlich Gem der Beschreibung Kapitel 8 eine Kontrolle vornehmen 9 1 Teile Ersatzteile sind bei Ihrem Lieferanten erh ltlich 10 bergabe Sie m ssen den Benutzer ber das Ger t informieren Dabei ist der Benutzer ber die Inbetriebnahme die Funktion und die Fernbedienung sowie die j hrliche Wartung zu unterrichten LO Weisen Sie den Benutzer bei St rungen Funktionsproblemen sofort den Gashahn zu schlie en und den Instal lateur hinzuzuziehen um Gefahren zu vermeiden Den Gashahn anweisen Weisen Sie auf die der Bedienungsanleitung beschriebenen Vorsichtsma nahmen zum Schutz vor unbeabsichtig ter Z ndung durch andere drahtlose Fernbedienungen wie beispielsweise Autoschl ssel und Garagentor ffner hin mp Geben Sie dem Benutzer Anweisungen ber das Gerat und die Fernbedienung Bei der Inbetriebnahme ist darauf hinzuweisen

23. 5 2 2 Placing concentric system with wall terminal Maintain a distance of at least 50 mm between the outside of the concentric system and the walls and or the ceiling If the system is built in for instance a cove it should be made with non combustible material all around it Use heat resistant insulation material when passing through combustible material The rosette mounting inner plate of the wall terminal is too small to seal the 250 mm opening when passing through combustible material That is why you should first apply a sufficiently large heat resistant intermediate plate to the wall Then the rosette is mounted on the intermediate plate Some heat resistant insulation materials contain volatile components that will spread an unpleasant smell for a pro longed time these are not suitable Place the concentric system as follows Build the system up from the connection stump of the appliance Connect the concentric pipe pieces and the bend On each connection apply a clip binding with silicon sealing ring Use a self tapping screw to fix the clip binding to the pipe on locations that cannot be reached after installation Apply sufficient clamps so that the weight of the pipes does not rest on the appliance Determine the remaining length of the wall terminal Make sure the wall terminal has the right dimensions Make sure that the right insertion length is maintained Place the wall terminal with the groove folded
