Solar Powered Story Teller Audio Player User Manual VOLUME CONTROL STORY TELLER PLAYER INSTRUCTIONS To turn player ON or OFF Move the power switch to the ON or OFF position The player will begin to automatically play audio when the power switch is turned ON To ADVANCE to the next story message briefly press the PI forward button To REVERSE to the beginning of the current story briefly press the M reverse button To REVERSE to the previous story double click the K button This easy to use solar powered audio player is designed to play stories and messages in sequence pausing after each one e The player will stop playing at the end of each story Press Pll button briefly to advance to the next story e f the button is not pressed for 2 minutes following the end of a story the player will automatically enter SLEEP MODE e To bookmark the current story press and hold for 2 seconds the Pll button The player has now entered SLEEP MODE Player can be turned OFF with bookmark saved Turn player ON to play current story e To resume playing the story when in SLEEP MODE momentarily press the Pll button until the light illuminates about 1 full second e After the last story is played the player will automatically return to the first story There are 5 preset volume levels To increase volume to next preset volume level press the volume button To return to the lowest preset volume level repe2. atedly press the 4 button CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS Charge Battery to full level using one of the following methods e placing solar panel in direct sunlight for 6 8 hours e connecting player to wall charger standard USB 5VDC 500mA via the mini USB port for 3 hours e connecting player to a computer via the mini USB port for 3 hours Low battery Shut Off The player will beep and automatically enter SLEEP MODE when the battery power level becomes too low for reliable operation Recharge battery for continued use Charging Indicator Player will charge with power switch in either ON or OFF position However while charging via the mini USB port the light will flash slowly as battery is charged only when power switch is ON position Reset the player by turning the power switch OFF in the event player becomes unresponsive or behaves abnormally Wait about ten seconds and then turn the player ON
