1. gt G EMULEX Workaround None 3 Family Firmware Version is supported on Family Version 01 03 01 and later To update from a previous Family Version to 03 01 01 and later do the following 1 Use the Dell Update Package DUP to update to Family Version 01 03 01 or later 2 Reboot the server 3 Use the DUP to update the Family Version again Family Firmware Version will be updated during this step General Boot Code 1 Forced Link Speed Behavior Setting the Forced Link Speed in the Emulex BIOS Utility and the EFI Utility applies only to pre OS booting After the operating system boots the Emulex HBA driver is loaded and performs its own speed negotiation The link speed setting in OneCommand Manager reflects that value and can change it The Forced Link Speed setting in the Emulex BIOS Utility and the EFI Utility has no correlation to the value displayed in OneCommand Manager or to the final link speed that is negotiated by the Emulex HBA driver Workaround None 2 Inthe Boot for the Fibre Channel Protocol User Manual some Emulex BIOS Utility for x86Boot and UEFI Boot Utility settings do not behave as documented for LPe16000 series adapters a For the Link Speed configuration in the Emulex BIOS Utility page 1143 the 1 Gigabaud setting is not available Instead a 16 Gigabaud setting is provided b For the Topology configuration in the UEFI Boot Utility page 1195 the Point to Point setting is not available c2.
