5. in the Grouper s installation folder or a folder called hrg4 grouper profile P1516 in your user profile depending on how your Windows is configured This parameter cannot be combined with other parameters Where there are spaces in paths or filenames for parameter values the parameter value must be enclosed within double quote characters An example script using the command line is echo off Gi cd Program Files HSCIC HRG4 2015 16 P hrg grouperc exe i C Temp data apc csv o C Temp data output csv d HRG4 sample APC rdf 1 APC h F SERRORLEVELS NEQ 0 echo Error in command please check hrg log Pause Secondary Uses Service Grouping The Secondary Uses Service SUS Grouper and the corresponding payment grouper use the same algorithm so results of grouping the same data will always be the same Any apparent differences between your grouping of data and the results in SUS are likely to be caused by the way SUS prepares data e Exclusions Some episodes are excluded from spells according to Department of Health rules Lack of such records in a spell can affect the spell level grouping results To get the same result you may need to remove excluded episodes from the grouping run e Critical Care CC Days calculations The local grouper uses precalculated CC days for each Admitted Patient Care APC episode whereas SUS calculates CC days for APC episodes from the linked Adult Neonatal or Paed
