Etisalat 3G WiFi Router USER GUIDE Settings in the MyZone Configuration Manager To access the MyZone Configuration Manager open a web browser Internet Explorer Safari Mozilla Firefox Google Chrome etc and type http my zone in the address bar at the top of the page and hit the Enter key Login You will now see the Status page of the MyZone Configuration Manager see image below The Status page shows you the Battery level 3G Signal strength 3G Connection status Provider and SIM Status You can also change the language used by the MyZone to Arabic by clicking on the link at the top right of the login window etisalatD ail Signal Strength 87 dBm medium O The MyZone Configuration manager The first step in configuring your MyZone is to login to the device Click on the Login tab under the Status tab You will see the following Login screen You will need to enter the default Login username and passwords e Username admin e Password admin Configuration Manager Etisalat 3G WiFi Router USER GUIDE etisalat etisalat Etisalat MyZone Username Password Switch to advanced view Once you have logged in successfully you may begin configuring the basic features of your MyZone for more advanced features look at the section under Advanced Settings In addition to the Status menu you will now see a Wireless and an Internet men2. 11. the OK button Hdvanced 29 D av bail etisalat Troubleshooting TROUBLESHOOTING Are you having trouble connecting wirelessly 1 Make sure that the Wi Fi device you are using to connect to the MyZone is turned ON For example most laptops have a manual Wi Fi ON OFF button that is typically located to the front or the side of the laptop depending on the brand 2 Ensure that the MyZone is turned ON and that the Wi Fi LED is blinking working on battery or steady charging 3 Search for Wireless Network Etisalat MyZone and make sure you enter the right password 3G24WNEOO 4 Make sure DHCP is turned ON correctly on your Wi Fi device Are you having trouble accessing the Internet 1 Make sure the SIM is inserted correctly Check the SIM direction on the left side of the MyZone for reference 2 Check to ensure that the 3G LED is blinking correctly 3 If you are using a Prepaid SIM make sure that the SIM carries sufficient credit Etisalat 3G WiFi Router USER GUIDE Troubleshooting

IM Power Switch Insert your SIM card as shown below push to lock push to Card cover Slide and hold the switch to power up your MyZone until release Please make sure you insert your SIM card in the the power light illuminates For power down hold the correct orientation by checking the SIM icon next to the switch for 3 5 seconds until the power light changes SIM slot colour D Once you have lifted the SIM Card cover you can then insert your SIM Card into the SIM Card slot as shown on you MyZone To insert the SIM Card into the MyZone first move e out of the way by pushing it away with your Micro USB Socket fingernail The Micro USB socket allows you to charge the MyZone when plugged into the power adapter or any USB port on your computer Once you have pushed the stand out of the way you will notice a small indent under the SIM Card cover f Getting Started av la etisal Getting Online in 5 Minutes GETTING ONLINE IN 6 5 MINUTES Note Please ensure you charge your MyZone fully for at least 8 hours before using it without the USB cable connected to a power source 1 Insert your SIM and connect the USB cable to a power source if the battery is running low Power on the MyZone by sliding down the power switch until the power status light illuminates 2 On your Laptop Computer Smartphone iPhone scan for the following wireless network name SSID Etisalat MyZone 3

21. ection allows you to set up System Monitoring on your MyZone The Periodic Ping Reset Monitor configures the MyZone to transmit controlled ping packets to a user specified IP addresses If the router does not receive a response to the pings the router will reboot The purpose of this feature is to ensure recovery of the device if the internet connection disconnects and then does not reconnect for some reason Etisalat 3G WiFi Router USER GUIDE This feature works as follows a Every Periodic Ping Timer value in seconds the MyZone sends 3 consecutive pings to the Destination Address b If all 3 pings fail the MyZone sends 3 consecutive pings to the Second Address c The MyZone then sends 3 consecutive pings to the Destination Address and 3 consecutive pings to the Second Address every Periodic Ping Accelerated Timer seconds d If all accelerated pings in step C fail the MyZone reboots after waiting the amount of time entered in the Fail Count times e If any of the pings succeed the MyZone returns to step A and does not reboot The Periodic Ping Timer should never be set to a value less than 60 seconds this is to allow the MyZone time to reconnect to the 3G network following a reboot To disable the Periodic Ping Reset Monitor simply set to Fail Count 0 The MyZone can also be configured to automatically reboot on a periodic interval specified in minutes While this is not necessary it does ensur
