1. j 4 J ETA 7 D at US ION User Manual Capacity 1000g x 0 1g Weighing modes g 0z gn dwt ozt ct Thank you for purchasing US ION digital scale Please read all operation instructions carefully before use Scales are precision instruments and should always be handled with proper care To ensure years of reliable service keep these simple tips in mind e Do not exceed the scales maximum capacity Overloading your scale can permanently damage it e Avoid exposure to extreme heat or cold Scales perform best at normal room temperature If temperatures have changed dramatically recalibration may be necessary e Allow your scale to acclimate to the room temperature for at least one hour before use e Store your scale in aclean dry location Dust dirt and moisture can accumulate on the weighing sensors and electronics causing inaccuracy or malfunction e Avoid using you scale in close proximity to strong radio wave emitting devices such as computers cash registers and cordless phones e Always weigh on a flat level surface free from vibrations and drafts The corner of a room is usually the most stable e Gently apply all items to be weighed Do not drop items onto the weighing platform e Avoid dropping your scale The warranty does not cover damage due to rough treatment or overload 1 SPECIFICATION Capacity 1000g Readability g oz dwt ozt gn ct Key function ON OFF MODE TARE C R Display Operat2. ion temperature 3 75 x 3 4 2 OPERATION 1 Place the scale on a leveled surface amp press ON OFF key to turn on the scale or power it off 2 Wait until the LCD display 0 0 then press MODE key to choose the weighing unit 3 Place the item to be weighed on the surface and wait until the reading is stable 3 TARE FUNCTION 1 Turn on scale as described above 2 Place the Tare item on the platform 3 Press Tare key to zero out the display and wait until 0 0 is displayed 4 Place items you want to weigh on the scale 4 CALIBRATION 5 When the scale is turned off press ON OFF key to turn on the scale until zero is displayed 6 Press and hold the MODE key until the required weight flashes on the displayed 7 Place the required weight onto the center of the platform 8 The LCD display reads PASS and come back to the normal weighing mode 5 COUNTING FUNCTION 9 Place the scale on a leveled surface amp power it on 10 Sampling Prepare a sample quantity 25 50 75 or 100pcs of the item you want to count Put the items on the platform Press the and hold the C R button until the scales shows 25 50 75 or 100 Press the MODE button to switch the above figures to match the quantity of the items on the platform Press the pcs button again and the display will show PCS in the upper left hand corner Sampling is completed 11 Counting Turn on
