12. r Manual 11 020 101268 01 Rev 1 04 2015 CHAISTIE Installation A Positive connection B Negative connection 3 Connect the negative and positive speaker wires from the speaker to the corresponding terminals on the amplifier 4 Turn on the amplifier and verify that the speaker is receiving power Platform mount the S218 subwoofer You can place the S218 subwoofer on a floor or platform without lag bolts or secure the subwoofer to the platform using appropriately sized lag bolts not provided in the box according to laws and regulations applicable to the venue O The S218 subwoofer cannot be flown Christie Vive Audio S218 Subwoofer User Manual 020 101268 01 Rev 1 04 2015 CHRISTIE Troubleshooting Do not service the speaker All servicing must be completed by qualified service personnel ACAUTION Failure to comply could result in minor or moderate injury Problem Resolution The speaker does not function e Verify that the speaker is receiving power from the amplifier e Verify that the circuit breaker for the main circuit to the amplifier is open e Reset the circuit breaker If the AC mains breaker continues to open check the voltage and amperage of the circuit e Verify that the negative and positive speaker wires from the speaker are correctly connected to the terminals on the amplifier The speaker sound is degraded e Visually inspect the speaker for deterioration or holes e Reduce the output level o
