TECH SupPoRT S RBOUT WEB MANAGER Server fail over and mirror feature allows the data and setting of your primary server to be copied to a secondary server over a network In the event that the primary server is not able to provide network storage services to its attached clients secondary server will take its place To enable this feature both primary and gt Server Mirror secondary server must have identical RAID and LVM setting For primary server select primary enter service IP address that is used for connection with clients select primary and secondary IP address for REPLICATION server to server communication For details select help on this administration page Click on Apply to execute the setting or Cancel to return to the home page VIEW SETTING SFM interface must exist Set it up HERE Server Fail over and Mirror Server Fail over and Mirror SFM is an optional feature used to bind two AberNAS servers as one so as to write data to both systems simultaneously In addition this feature also provides server service fail over so that clients attached to the primary server can be serviced by the secondary server in the event that primary server is not able to provide the service The clients accessing the primary server in most cases will not notice the fail over process when the secondary AberNAS takes over Each AberNAS system has two groups of network port s One group is dedicated for client serving Data ports and the
