Dispose of used batteries in accordance to your country s national state or local requirements Replace the batteries when the display reads LobAt ADAPTER POWER OPTION An optional power adapter is available ADPT 30 Plug the optional adapter NOT INCLUDED into the base of the scale and then into the outlet for power The LED next to the power jack will light up in red indicating that there is power to the scale Please refer to page 3 for information regarding the adapter available for use with this scale When an adapter is used the battery icon will not be displayed The power adapter jack is located on the back of the scale as shown below in Figure 1 TO SHUT OFF THE SCALE 1 To manually shut off the scale press the ON OFF button 2 The scale will automatically shut off after 2 minutes of inactivity if this function is enabled to help extend battery life or to reduce power usage TO DEACTIVATE REACTIVATE AUTO OFF 1 To deactivate the AUTO OFF function with the scale shut off press and hold the RELEASE button 2 Press and release the ON OFF button while still holding the RELEASE button 3 Release both buttons AOF 0 will be displayed on the screen to confirm that the Auto Off feature has been deactivated 4 To reactivate the AUTO OFF function shut the scale off and then press and hold the RELEASE button then repeat steps 2 and 3 AOF 1 will be displayed to confirm that the Auto Off feature has been reactivated NO2.
