1. is installed underneath the tap 3 Mount the tap into the hole and assemble hardware as shown in Fig 3 and described below 4 Place the Rubber Washer and then the Steel Washer onto the Tap Shank Screw the Fixing Nut to hold these in place 5 Fit the Quick Fitting Tube Connector Washer into the Quick Fitting Tube Connector and screw onto the Tap Shank 6 Insert tube into the Quick Fitting Tube Connection NOTE DO NOT over tighten fittings as cross threading can occur Please assemble fittings with hand tight pressure only Semm Kani Bench Thickness Base O Ring Rubber Washer Steel Washer Fixing Nut Quick Connection To Suit 1 4 Tube 6 INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS E TUBING INSTALLATION The Filtration Svstem has been supplied with quick and easv to install quick connections 1 Measure a length of 1 4 tubing 4 to run from the Shut off valve to the filter head inlet 3c and another length of tubing to run from the filter head outlet 3d to the faucet connection piece 9 at the base of the filtered water faucet Install the tubing as per the tvpical installation diagram on page 3 To install tubing push tubing into connections and give a slight pull to ensure tubing is secure Note check the end of the tubing to make sure there are no cuts nicks flat spots or sharp edges If any of these are present re cut the end with a tube cutter or utilitv knife The cut must be perfectiv2. time if you notice a reduction in volume or flow from the tap or return of an unpleasant taste odour to the water If the system is also not used for an extended period of time then the filter cartridges will need to be replaced prior to use of the system Cartridge Service Life Replace every 6 months or 1 200 litres whichever occurs first INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 9 TROUBLE SHOOTING BEFORE VOU CALL FOR SERVICE PLEASE REVIEW THE TROUBLE SHOOTING TIPS FIRST Problem Water contains tinv black particles Water appears milky or has air bubbles and is cloudy Chlorine taste and or odour in the product water Dispenses water very slowly Water leaking at fittings No water dispensing from system 10 INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Possible Causes New filter contains activated carbon which is food grade safe Air in the system The filter canister is no longer removing chlorine from the water supply The filter has been installed for too long The filter canister has become clogged Tubing may not be installed properly Shut off valve or mains water supply may be turned off Filter canisters not fully installed What To Do Turn on the water faucet and allow these harmless carbon particles to purge from the canister Turn off water faucet when water is clear Flush water through system until water appears clear or use the system and this condition will clear i

7. hould be easilv accessible with clearance at the bottom of the filter to allow ease of removal of filter cartridge Please ensure there is enough space on either side of the svstem for the tubing connections See Fig 2 WARNING On the Filter Head 3a there is an arrow that indicates the direction of water flow into and out of the filter head When vou mount the filter vou must ensure that the water flow will run in the direction of the arrow 2 Mark location of mounting bracket 3b and fix it to the wall using the screws provided 3 Click filters into mounting bracket 3b Note Filter head 3a will come with small plugs in the hose Inlet 3c and outlet 3d to protect the svstem during shipping These plugs are to be removed before installation TO REMOVE REPLACE FILTERS Hold the cartridge body and twist anti clockwise until the spring loaded lugs on the filter head 3a pop out 2 Pull filter cartridge body downwards to remove filter 3 To replace the filter simply fit it into the filter head 3a and twist slightly in a clockwise direction until the spring loaded locking lugs click back into the locked position i wW N 3 INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 5 AQUAPORT GOOD WATER MADE EASY D FAUCET INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1 Locate and mark spot where you wish to install the tap on the sink or counter top and drill a 3 8 hole 2 Check to ensure Tap Base O Ring
8. in the garden Note Tiny air bubbles being expelled from the cartridge will cause the water supply to appear cloudy this is normal This condition will clear itself over use or you may flush water through the system until water appears clear 4 Re check for leaks 5 Your Aquaport water filtration system is now ready to produce refreshing great tasting water for you and your family G FILTER REPLACEMENTS 1 Isolate water supply Turn cold tap on to release any excess water still present in system 2 Remove new filter cartridge from packaging 8 INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 3 Remove expired filter cartridges from svstem bv holding the cartridge bodv and twisting anti clockwise until the spring loaded lugs on the filter head 3a pop out then pull filter cartridge body downwards to remove filter 4 Insert new filter cartridges 1 amp 2 into the filter head 3a and twist slightiv in a clockwise direction until the spring loaded locking lugs click back into the locked position 5 Turn cold tap to ON position Turn water supply ON slowly at isolation tap or water meter Note air mav be purged from the filter svstem at this time 6 Check for anv leaks and fix if necessarv 7 Leave tap on to allow water to flush through the system for approximately 5 minutes You may wish to collect the water for use in the garden Note Tinv air bubbles being expelled from the cartridge will cause the wate
