AMERICAN WEIGH AMW 810 Bowl Scale 000g x 1g USER S MANUAL American Weigh AMW 810 User s Manual 2000 x 1g Thank you for purchasing the AMW 810 Bowl Scale With normal care and proper treatment it will provide you with years of reliable service Please read all operating instructions carefully before using the scale It may be necessary to calibrate the scale before its first use Avoid any exposure to extreme heat or cold Your scale will work better when operating in normal room temperature Allways allow the scale to acclimate to normal room temperature for at least an hour before use Give the scale sufficient warm up time before use Usually 30 to 60 seconds to give the internal components time to stablize Keep your scale in a clean environment Dust dirt moisture vibra tion air currents or a close proximity to other electronic eguipment can cause an adverse effect on the reliability and accuracy of your scale Handle with care Gently apply all items to be weighed onto the weighing surface Although this scale is designed to be quite durable avoid rough treatment as this may permanently damage the internal sensor Do not shake drop or otherwise shock the scale This is a precision instrument and must be handled with extreme care Only operate the scale on a stable vibration free surface Always store in a dry place to avoid moisture accumulation on internal com2. ponents I Operation Place the scale on a flat surface If you do not wish to use the bowl remove it before proceeding 1 Select between grams or ounces using the switch on the bottom of the scale 2 Press ON OFF key 3 Wait until 0 0 is displayed 4 You may now add the item s to be weighed II Tare Weighing You may use your own container by doing the following 1 Turn on scale as described above 2 Place the container tare item on the platform 3 Press TARE and wait until 0 0 is displayed 4 Add the net weight item III Troubleshooting The primary reason for innaccuracy or malfunction are low batteries overload or operating on an unstable surface Please keep this in mind and maintain and operate your scale prop erly This scale is a precision instrument and must be handled with care Error Code Descriptions Error Nothing on screen LO Solution Replace Batteries Error EE Solution Load is in excess of 2000g remove the extra load IV Specifications Capacity Readability Units Tare Range Auto Off Backlight Power Bowl Dimensions Base Dimensions Weighing Surface 2000 g 70 55 oz 1g 0 05 oz g grams oz ounces Tare to full capacity 60 seconds Blue backlight 4 x AA Batteries 7 75 x 7 75 x 2 25 7 5 x 7 5 x 2 5 25 diameter
