1. oe oO D oO N Q a pn TwinPower Turbine Maintenance Guide Turbines may fail quickly if maintenance is not performed consistently or correctly Do not fail to perform the maintenance procedures described below after treatment and before autoclaving 2 Disinfection 3 a Lubrication Cleaning Manual 1 Cleaning Chuck Lubrication X y 3 Seconds of Spray 3 b Lubrication Cleaning Automated fLubrin 3 Seconds of Spray Wipe Off Excess Lubricant 15 Seconds 4 Sterilization ao of Operation Wipe Off Excess Lubricant e Remove bur from handpiece e Remove cutting debris blood and other contaminants with a soft brush and running water A Do not fail to wash off all chemical electrolytic and other active liquids Only Use gauze or a soft brush with disinfecting alcohol on the entire handpiece e Handpieces with the following mark may be cleaned and disinfected with a thermal washer and disinfector A To use a thermal washer and disinfector do not fail to follow the instructions and conditions that come with the handpiece amp a Manual Lubricate with AR Spray e Lubricate the chuck and the handpiece with AR Spray for 3 sec each a e Operate the handpiece for 15 sec to remove excess lubricant i 1Y i i e Wipe excess lubricant off the surface of the handpiece ii i A Use the proper nozzle for type of handpiece joint Chuck Spray Nozzle Handp2. iece IOA Do not press down on the push cap during operation b Automated Lubrina e AR Spray lubrication using Lubrina e Wipe excess lubricant off the surface of the handpiece A Refer to the user s manual on how to operate Lubrina 4 Sterilization e Place the handpiece in a sterilization pouch and autoclave at 135 C 275 F for a minimum 135 C of 5 minutes of sterilization time T A Autoclave and drying temperatures must not exceed 135 C 275 F e Remove the handpiece from autoclave unit and store carefully e Wear surgical gloves to perform maintenance e Use AR Spray only W d e See user s manuals for details ad If you have questions or need additional information contact J Morita USA at 888 JMORITA 566 7482 Thinking ahead Focused on life MORITA
