19. amming tone can be heard You should only use the SERVICE jumper if you have forgotten the password 4 1 2 Programming of Parameters The initial state for programming is signalled by the programming tone and the Ulydor will return to this state after 5 seconds with no DTMF input even if you have started programming There are two types of parameter fixed length the majority of parameters are of fixed length After entering the parameter you will hear an acknowledge tone variable length some of the parameters are of a variable length A good example is the parameters which store the numbers dialled when a user presses a button After entering the parameter you should wait 5 seconds until you hear the confirmation tone If during programming you enter an invalid digit the Ulydor will immediately emit an error tone The parameter will not be recorded nor changed the Ulydor will return to programming mode and it is possible to repeat the parameter setting or program another parameter 19 Ulydor Door Entry Systems Operating Instructions 20 The Ulydor stays inactive in programming mode for 34 seconds then it will automatically hang up You can also end the programming mode by pressing 9 Note 1 if you wish to keep the connection extend beyond the 34 second period press 6 7 0 or from time to time The Ulydor immediately responds by error tone and will extend the period before hanging up Note 2 Whe
