PART 6 INTEGRAL POWER SUPPLY 6 1 Power Supply The power supply for the KDM 8206 rack enclosures is integral to the chassis and mounted internally on the side panel The KDM 8206 power supply provides a 15VDC regulated output The same power supply is utilized for the Full 19 Sub Rack the 1 2 Rack Instrument Enclosure and the 3 4 Rack Instrument Enclosure It has capacity to power 1 to 12 Measuring Channels or the Optional Display Module and 1 to 10 Measuring Channels Power supply specifications are Input Power 100VAC 10 to 240VAC 10 50 60 Hz 76 VA Output Power 15VDC 0 5V 1A Peak Load 1 5A 15VDC 0 5V 0 67A Peak Load 1A No modifications are required to operate the KDM 8206 Sub Racks or Instrument enclosures for input voltages between 100 and 240VAC DC power is distributed from the power supply via a 4 pin connector to the Channel 1 back plane PCB in the first slot The back plane has a mating connector and can be either a Measuring Channel back plane PCB or a Display Meter back plane PCB t is then distributed to all channels in the rack via interconnecting back plane PCB connectors for the Measuring Channels The power supply is a unique design to provide specific voltages and currents required for the Measuring Channels It is physically configured to mount on the side rail of the Instrument Enclosures and Sub Rack For Figure 21 below Power Supply connections labeled are e J1 DC output to Back Pl
