MoGo by Inmotion 1 844 220 2144 www magic inmotion com 5 Easy Steps to get in motion WARNING READ BEFORE FIRST USE Welcome to the MAGIC INMOTION family This Quick Start Guide will help you assemble your MoGo by Inmotion and learn the basic features you need to know to get started Let s get you moving WARNING This is not the user manual Read the user manual before first use Ride at your own risk Wear protective gear at all times Minors should always ride with parental supervision Do not turn fast or lean too hard as these motions can result in injury Step 1 CHARGE your MoGo completely before first use To do this remove the charger adapter and power cord located on the top tier The adapter will be in a white box located next to the power cord Plug the two together and then into a wall outlet Next access the second tier and remove the main MoGo body from the box The battery is located in the back of the unit with an MoGo badge Under the badge you will see the battery release and under this you will find the plug in for the adapter You may need to slide the adapter plug cover to the side in order to access the adapter plug Your MoGo will announce charging Once your MoGo shows full power you have completed this step Step 2 Check for all components Your MoGo is packed in 2 tiers Please remove all contents from the box to be sure you have all components 1 MoGo by INMOTION SCV body 1 Inst
3. allation Tool and a Few Screws 1 Handlebar 1 Battery Pack 1 Turning Shaft 1 SmartKey and SmartKey Chain 1 Charger 1 User Manual Warranty Card and Product Certification Step 3 ASSEMBLE your MoGo Now it s time to prepare the handle and column Remove the column and the T handle tool from the top tier and the steering handle from the lower tier Locate and remove the mounting screw from the column this will be near the adjustment wheel Now insert the handle into the top of the column near the adjustment wheel again and secure with the screw you have removed using the T handle tool provided Note the unique shape of the connectors will only allow you to mount the handle in the proper configuration Next we will attach the handle and column to the SCV Locate the Quick Release located on the front of the SCV body and open the Quick Release Simply slide the open end of the column into the quick release and fully close the quick release If it is difficult to open close the quick release you can use your T handle to adjust it A turn or two on each of the 2 screws of the Quick Release will make it easier to open Congratulations you have successfully assembled your new MoGo Step 4 TURNING ON your MoGo Let s get familiar with your Smart Key Your Smart Key is packed in a black box located in the Top Tier and includes a USB charging cable Smart Keys need to be charged about once a month Your Smart Key has three buttons we will
4. ist Mode press the C button again Training Mode For new users and people just starting out the Training Mode has limited functionality in order to help find your balance and get used to the handling of the SCV This includes a reduction in speed and agility Most users exit Training Mode and go to Speed mode within a few minutes To exit Training Mode press the C button This can be done while you are on or off the SCV Step 5 TESTING your MoGo The first step is to conduct a Self Check to make sure your SCV is in perfect health Using your Smart Key turn on the SCV by pressing A Once the SCV has powered on press and hold the C button until the SHIFT icon illuminates then release and press the B button You should hear Self Check Starts followed by Self Check Success TIME TO RIDE IMPORTANT For your first ride make sure you have someone to help you Your MoGo is constantly adjusting up to 20 000 times per second based on the input your body is providing which can provide for some interesting first reactions by users Typically a new user will experience a bucking action while they learn to trust the MoGo can balance itself In Training Mode MoGo will not activate until it senses weight on both foot pads This makes it much easier to mount for the new user Find a flat and relatively open area to take your first ride Have your helper take firm hold of the handle and tilt your MoGo until the foot pads are parallel with the
5. refer to as A B and C starting from the top For basic operation you will need to know how to turn on the SCV as well as switch between modes For additional features please read your Users Manual To wake up the Smart Key press the C button On first use and any time you remove and reinsert the battery you may see the No Signal indication In this case you will need to reset your SCV The reset button is located just below the battery you located earlier You may also note there is a USB connection here as well that can recharge your Smart Key or even power your cell phone in an emergency Simply press and release the button and you should hear chimes and a see the LCD panel light briefly Pressing the A button will now turn on off your MoGo If you are riding your MoGo the A button will function as your horn While your MoGo is powered on pressing the C button will allow you to cycle between the three modes Assist Mode Training Mode and Speed Mode normal operation See the manual for more information about the modes Press and hold the C button to enter SHIFT mode and your MoGo will run a self diagnostic test to make sure it is in perfect health See Step 4 below Modes Assist Mode When you are not riding the SCV use the Assist Mode to move your SCV Once in Assist Mode take the handle bar and lead the SCV wherever you need to go Note this is NOT balance mode Releasing the handle may allow the device to roll away To exit Ass
