CH 5901 Battery Charger User s Manual CH 5901 Battery Charger User s Manua 1 Introduction This advanced battery charger is designed to charge the Apple iBook Dual USB battery pack It provides an excellent way of charging this battery pack safely and conveniently outside of the notebook The charger has two bays and is capable of charging two bat tery packs simultaneously An LED display in each bay provides information on the charging status 2 Safety Instructions This battery charger is designed and built to the highest safety standards and will protect the user from shock and other hazards when used as directed The charger contains high voltage circuits it is therefore important for users to read the following instructions carefully Do not attempt to charge non rechargeable batteries including alkaline carbon zinc or non rechargeable lithium e Remove all batteries from the charger before plugging the AC adapter into the wall socket e Make sure battery contacts are clean and there is no debris in the charger e Do not short circuit the charger s contacts with metal objects e Use only with the AC adapter provided e Make sure the battery is placed tightly in the bay to ensure a good connection e Pay attention to the charging status LED and discontinue charging if it shows an error signal refer to section 3 3 e Always store the charger in a cool and dry place 3 Operation 3 1 To power the battery
