7. t your bed Never sleep with Electric Blanket turned on FITTING YOUR FITTED ELECTRIC BLANKET Place the Electric Blanket on the mattress with the skirt on top of the Electric Blanket Ensure the end of the Electric Blanket with controls is at the top end of the bed See Fig 1 Plug the Electric Blanket controls into power point and turn on The cord and control switches must be kept outside the bed and away from external heating sources such as heaters or bedside lamps CARE 8 CLEANING OF VOUR ELECTRIC BLANKET Taking care of vour Electric Blanket is easv and safe as long as vou follow the steps outlined below DO NOT drv clean vour Electric Blanket Drv cleaning will damage the wiring DO NOT use bleach or drv cleaning fluids DO NOT use a wringer DO NOT iron the Electric Blanket DO NOT turn on the Electric Blanket until it is completely dry DO NOT use mothballs or sprays of any kind DO NOT machine wash DO NOT tumble dry SPOT CLEANING Unplug the Electric Blanket from the mains supply Wet sponge the affected area using a mild soap and lukewarm water solution Ensure the water temperature is less than 30 C Gently sponge the affected area with clean water Use a neutral coloured towel to absorb excess water HAND WASHING Do not allow the Electric Blanket controls or power plug to come into contact with any water Fold and presoak the Electric Blanket for 15 minutes in a mild soap and lukewarm water solution Ensure the
