REFIELD AK Weaver Base Side Mount USER MANUAL FEATURES SPECIFICATIONS e Can be used with AK and SVD type rifles e Quick and easy to install e Durable construction e Can be used with any Weaver based scope or accessory WARNING CAUTION Always unload your firearm before attempting to mount this or any other scope or ac cessory Be sure to visually inspect your firearm to ensure it is UNLOADED ABOUT THE AK WEAVER BASE SIDE MOUNT The Firefield AK Weaver Base Side Mount allows you to mount scopes and accessories with Weaver mounts onto firearms that have side fastening lugs on their receiver This mount is easy to install detaches quickly and is able to maintain 1 MOA zero after multiple re attachments INSTALLATION 1 Make sure the latch 1 is in the open position which means it will be pointing toward the back of the mount 2 With the locking plate 2 open slide the mount onto the side of your firearm 3 Turn the latch 1 toward the front of the mount until it is in the locked position There will be an audible click when the latch 1 and lock 3 are in place It may be necessary to adjust the locking plate before the mount can be installed onto your firearm If you are unable to slide the mount onto your firearm s rail or if the mount is not tightly secure on the firearm s rail after the latch has been locked then adjustment is needed To adjust the locking plate 1 Press th2. e locking plate 2 against the tension spring 5 to create a gap between it and the locking nut 6 2 Hold the locking plate 2 in this position while adjusting the locking nut 6 3 If the mount is too loose on the rail tighten the locking nut 6 by turning it clock wise 4 If when in the open position the locking plate 2 sticks out and prevents the mount from sliding onto the rail loosen the locking nut 6 by turning it counterclockwise 5 After you have adjusted the locking nut 6 release the locking plate 2 to return it to its original position and attach the mount to the rail again 6 Repeat adjustments until the mount is secured tightly to your firearm s rail FIREFIELD 1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY This Firefield product is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year In the event of a defect under this warranty we will at our option repair or replace the product This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse or improper handling Also this warranty is null and void if modification or maintenance is provided by someone other than Firefield This warranty is non transferable and is only valid if the product is registered within 30 days after the product has been purchased FOR WARRANTY SUPPORT CONTACT Firefield info firefieldtactical com Firefield All rights reserved AARON Latch Locking plate Lock Weaver rail Spring Locking nut
