Information for operators If you want to print a document from your desktop application you can define the print settings before you send the job to the Oc VarioPrint 2090 The settings that you define are set in the printer driver dialog box Note The printer driver allows you to define up to seven different types of paper for a print job How to start a print job 1 ah OND Select the print option in your application The print window of your application appears Select the page range if necessary Select the number of prints Select the name of the printer for example Oc VarioPrint 2090 Select Properties to access the settings in the printer driver How to define the print settings in the Windows printer driver 1 2 3 e Select the template that matches the settings you want to use Click OK The window of the printer driver closes Click OK in the application window The document is sent to the Oc VarioPrint 2090 Note When a correct template is not available you can also define the settings in the Properties section The new template is saved for future use Click the Settings bar or a short cut link in the Preview window to access the print settings Note You can also activate the Show settings before printing dialog in the Printing Preferences When the option is enabled the printer driver pops up automatically after you press the OK button in the print w

10. 107 Concatenation and chapterization Concatenation and chapterization Introduction Information for operators The Copy build wizard of the Oc VarioPrint 2090 combines different originals the subsets into one document For example a report or a book You can change 1 sided originals into 2 sided documents If the combination of your originals results in an odd number of pages an empty page can separate your subsets The Oc VarioPrint 2090 detects this odd number of pages that results from the copy building process The system allows you to delete the empty page or keep the empty page The concatenation and chapterization functions allow you to indicate how the system must combine the subsets Note You can use concatenation and chapterization only for originals fed through the automatic document feeder If you use the glass plate the screen will not display the message Start subset on new sheet Yes use new sheet No continue on back of last sheet About concatenation and chapterization When you use the Copy build wizard to combine subsets an odd number of pages can occur When the system detects an odd number of pages you can start the next subset on the rear of the last sheet or on a new sheet You can also indicate if you want to use this setting for the whole document or only for this subset Concatenation You decide to print the next subset on the empty page do not keep the empty page The subsets are
