1. Wheelchair Headrest User and Fitting Instructions The Enigma wheelchair headrest is suitable for retrofitting to most wheelchairs with push handles up to 1 25mm diameter It features is height width and angle adjustment and an adjustable padded headrest cushion It is designed to help aid the posture and comfort of the wheelchair user It should not be used as part of a restraint in a motor vehicle Installation and Operation To Install Undo and remove the screws and handwheels attached to the plastic brackets marked A Loosen the grub screws marked B Install the two plastic brackets marked A over the wheelchair push handles adjusting the width to suit Secure the brackets by reattaching the handwheels and screws Secure the headrest width by retightening the grub screws marked B To Adjust the Headrest Height Loosen the handwheel marked C by turning anticlockwise Alter the headrest to the required height and retighten the handwheel To Adjust the Headrest Angle Loosen the required handscrews marked D by turning anticlockwise and adjust the headrest as required Retighten any loose handscrews Cleaning and Maintenance e Periodically check the headrest is secured to the wheelchair push handles e Check all headrest features function correctly If problems are found replace the unit e The cushion fabric may be cleaned using a damp cloth and mild deterge2. nt Thoroughly dry before use Warranty The backrest 1s covered by a twelve month warranty from date of purchase It covers design and manufacturing defects It does not cover upholstery wear and tear or accidental damage Please see your dealer for full details of the warranty Specification e 36 W x 7 D x 12cm H excluding bracketry e 14 2 W x 23 D x 434 H headrest only e Suitable for wheelchair with seat widths 16 40cm to 22 55cm Manufactured by Drive Medical Limited Ainley s Industrial Estate Elland West Yorkshire United Kingdom HX5 9JP Tel 44 0 1422 314488 Email enquiries drivemedical co uk Web www drivemedical co uk Document code ZHEADREST CE
