1. USER MANUAL Z1 0500H HEAVY DUTY COMMODE FEATURES Heavy duty commode with swing away arm removable backrest Lift up seat and lid with removable pail Height adj 43cm 17 54cm 21 Maximum user weight 127kg 22 stone ASSEMBLY 1 Take all parts out of the packaging 2 Lift off the pail from the base 3 Undo the bolts on the rear of the base Photo 1 4 Place the seat and lid onto the frame place the bolts though the chrome seat fitting and the base frame Tighten the bolts up with the clear plastic nuts 6 Swing the arms up until they lock in position by pulling out the spring loaded plunger and letting it return to the locking position 7 Replace pail into the base frame 8 Fit the backrest by inserting into the base frame to locate into the locking holes press the spring loaded plunger in and slide the backrest in until you here it click into place 9 To adjust the height of the commode each leg has to be adjusted this is done by pressing in the spring loaded plunger and sliding the leg downwards until the desired height is met make sure that the spring plunger is located in one of the height adjustment holes each leg has to be at the same height for safety PHOTO 1 10 Your commode is now ready for use N Q MAINTENANCE 1 Periodically check that the feet are serviceable 2 Check that the seat and lid bolts are tight 3 Check the backrest is secure 4 Make sure that the armre2. sts are locked into position and serviceable WARNING 1 Do not use as a step Please ensure that this leaflet is read and understood before using your Commode Z Tec Mobility Unit 1B Albion Works Moor Street Brierley Hill West Midlands DY 5 3SZ April 07 01
