Section 3 3 Loading the Medium 3 3 Loading the Medium The cutting plotter can use film in rolls or in single sheets Loading the desired medium by following the pertinent instructions 3 3 1 Loading a Roll Medium m CE2000 60 Lower the media set lever to raise the push rollers Place the roll medium on the tray and then pass the medium s leading edge from the back of the cutting plotter so it emerges from the front while making sure to remove any slack in the medi um s conveyance path NOTE Load the medium so that it passes over the media sensor At this point pull the leading edge out of the front of the cutting plotter so that it completely covers the media sensor If its leading edge has been pulled out so much that slack cannot be provided at the back of the plotter turn the roll to adjust the length of the medium in front of the cutting plotter by retracting the leading edge Adjust the position of the right and left push rollers to suit the width of the medium Position each push roller at its corresponding edge of the medium so that it is above the grit roller Move the push rollers so that they are po sitioned inside the push roller align ment marks provided To move the push rollers the media set lever must be in lowered position XS J Se Sa Ou Ox E If the RELOAD MEDIA message appears when you lower the media set lever the right pinch roller is not
