ASE m GAIN EXPANDER GATE COMPRESSOR 10 12 13 15 17 18 19 20 9 9 BYPASS ACTIVE Switch Releasing this switch is equal to turning off the Expander Gate amp Compressor function It can also used to make an A B comparison in between processed and unprocessed signal EXPANDER GATE 10 THRESHOLD Control Through this control you can set the threshold level of the expander gate from OFF to 15dBu Signals below this level cause expansion 11 THRESHOLD LED The LED lights up when an audio signal is below the set threshold The LED lights up in presence of an expansion 12 RATIO Control This control determines the expansion ratio when the signal drops below the threshold level which can be varied from 1 1 2 to 1 8 Low ration for expander application or 1 8 for gate application COMPRESSOR 13 THRESHOLD Control Through this control you can set the threshold of the compressor from 40dBu to 20dBu The SKC Smart Knee Control is applied to the audio signal which is a maximum of 10dB above the set threshold Above such level hard knee compression will be applied 14 THRESHOLD LED Both LEDs will show you the state of input signal in relation to the threshold level If the input signal falls bellow the set threshold level the LED will light up This means that no signal is being compressed When the input signal rises above the set threshold level the LED will light up this means that the
