9. e SMS John Smith va Save and continue gt Image 8 Check the options you want to use for the contact person s In this example Mr John Smith will be notified by phone SMS and email Click Save and continue 9 ENGLISH 5 3 Assigning a camera to the Water alarm On this tab you can assign an e Domotica camera to the Water alarm Refer to the following image for an example Alarm setup Water alarm Contact persons Notifications Alarm group Water alarm Camera Testcamera Office Save Save and finish gt Image 9 When a Water alarm is fired the e Centre will send the recorded images from the selected camera to the e Domotica Portal These images will be stored on the e Domotica Portal under the tab Recordings in the left menu This way you can check instantly if the alarm notification is real or maybe false Select the camera in the dropdown menu Click Save and finish to save your configuration and finish the wizard 6 0 Mounting the EM6592 Flood Detector After the EM6592 is assigned to your e Centre and has been setup in the e Domotica Portal it is time to mount the device to a wall or ceiling A bracket is provided which allows you to mount the flood detector to the wall or ceiling Use the following steps to mount the wall bracket 6 1 Mounting the wall bracket and transmitter Refer to the image at the right in order to mount the bracket and transmitter correctly
10. following the steps below Also you can use image 1 chapter 1 1 for reference You can choose to mount the transmitter to the wall either by using 2 screws or using the included adhesive pad Choose a correct location for the flood detector transmitter We advise to mount the flood detector transmitter at least 1 5 meter above ground for optimal wireless communication and to avoid the flood detector transmitter come into contact with flood The transmitter should never be submerged in flood The cable length from the transmitter to the sensor head is 3 meters If you did not remove the bracket of the transmitter yet remove the bracket 2 of the transmitter 6 This bracket has several holes for screws Apply the bracket to the wall or ceiling and mark the spots for the two drilling holes Or you can use the adhesive pads instead of screws Now drill the two holes and fill them with the supplied plugs 1 Mount the wall bracket 2 by using the two supplied screws 5 and carefully tighten the screws Once the bracket has been mounted you can place the EM6592 transmitter on the bracket by sliding it from the top down Fix the bracket to the transmitter by fastening the screw 7 at the bottom Image 10 6 2 Mounting the sensor head and cable 1 10 ENGLISH It is recommended to mount the sensor head at the lowest level of the floor where you might expect a flooding For example if your washer is located i
11. n the basement you can mount the sensor head at the lowest point near to the washer Mount the sensor head refer to image 1 chapter 1 1 on the desired position on the wall with the sensor clip 4 using the adhesive pad or using a screw 5 Mount the cable clips on the wall between the transmitter and the sensor head Each cable clip 3 can be mounted either with a screw or with an adhesive pad Click the cable in the cable clips If the cable is too long you can roll up the cable 11 ENGLISH 7 0 Testing the Flood Detector Now the flood detector has been assigned to your e Centre has been setup as an alarm sensor for the Water alarm and is mounted on its place you can test the flood detector Fill a small cup with water and insert the sensor head pins into the water If correct the flood detector will give a beep sound and the orange LED will be flashing The e Centre will be triggered and start the Water alarm depending on the settings you have made in the e Centre s webpage If you have assigned a siren such as the EM6575 to the e Centre the siren will also make a sound depending on the settings you have made for this product in the e Centre s webpage and the portal Depending on the settings on the e Domotica Portal you and or added contact persons will receive notifications via phone SMS and or e mail 8 0 Z wave commands Inclusion Have your Z wave Controller entered inclusion mode press the
