MVP 6 12 Pak Dimmer USERS MANUAL Revision 3 January 2004 070 0829 03 2004 Electronics Diversified Inc Introduction This Manual is supplied with your MVP Dimmer System Copies of this manual may be obtained through EDI s web site for no charge If a hard copy is needed it can be ob tained from the factory for a nominal charge No part of this Manual may be reproduced by any means graphic electronic or mechanical including photocopying recording taping or information storage and retrieval sys Description The MVP is a simple compact dimming system The MVP is available in eight different standard configurations de pending on power load per dimmer and number of dim mers Options such as fluorescent dimming modules and various dimming loads on dimmers may be featured on custom units Typically The MVP unit will have either six or twelve dimmers denoted as MVP 6 or MVP 12 Dim tems without the express written permission of Electronics Diversified Inc except in connection with installation repair and maintenance of installed MVP Dimmer Systems mer modules may be 600W 1 2kW 1 8kW and 2 4kW The MVP comes standard with a digital card accepting DMX 512 protocol In addition the MVP has assignable worklights and panic functions that can be remotely acti vated over 1000 feet of cable Table of Contents The optional analog card accepts analog 0 10 V signals along with expansion cards Two ex
