7. all the cir cuits before opening the case Battery Replacement The battery must be replaced when the green indicator flashes or remains off when the instrument is switched on 51 2 14 Disconnect everything connected the instrument and set the switch to OFF Use a screwdriver to unscrew the two screws on the housing Replace the old battery with a new one 9V alkaline or lithium bat tery of type 6LF22 Close the housing making sure that it is completely and correctly closed then screw both screws back in Cleaning It is important to keep the sensor latch mating surfaces clean to prevent foreign matter from entering the closing The sensor may be gently cleaned with a soft cloth soap and water Dry immediately after cleaning Avoid water penetration into the electronic module Make sure the sensor electronic module and all leads are com pletely dry before any further use MiniFlex Flexible AC Current Probe Repair and Calibration To ensure that your instrument meets factory specifications we recommend that it be scheduled back to our factory Service Center at one year intervals for recalibration or as required by other standards or internal procedures For instrument repair and calibration You must contact our Service Center for a Customer Service Authorization Number CSA This will ensure that when your instrument arrives it will be tracked and processed promptly Please write the CSA on
