1. 1 Hardware Installation To install the USB PCI card follow this procedure 1 Make sure the computer is turned off d 2 Gain access to the interior of the PC 3 Insert the USB PCI card in an empty PCI slot b A 4 Press the card gently but firmly into the slot and check to see that all ENCORE ELECTRONICS contacts are fully seated in the connector 5 Attach the bracket screws that secure the card to the chassis 6 Reinstall the covers on the PC ENLUSB2 5PCI BR 5 PORTS 4 OUTSIDE 1 INSIDE USB 2 0 PCI ADAPTER 2 USB Driver Installation 1 Place the Driver CD into the CD Rom driver Click the Start button on the taskbar and click Run Type D Usb Usb2 0 VIA Setup exe assuming you have placed the CD in CD ROM drive labeled as D a oe User Manual 2 Follow any on screen instructions to complete the software installation 3 Restart your system 4 Once you have rebooted the computer this USB PCI card is ready to be used
