3. g it clockwise increases the amount of distortion while turning it counterclockwise decreases the amount of distortion Tone Knob This knob controls the tone Turning it clockwise sharpens the tone and emphasizes the treble frequencies while turning it counterclockwise makes the tone more mild with less emphasis on treble frequencies Level Knob This knob adjusts the volume level of the effect Turn it clockwise to increase volume and turn it counterclockwise to decrease volume When fully counterclockwise no sound will be output Input Jack This jack accepts signals from your guitar other musical instrument or from another effect pedal The input jack contains the power switch Plugging a cable into the jack turns the power switch on and unplugging the cable turns it off To conserve battery power unplug the cable when the pedal is not in use Q Output Jack Connect this jack to your amp or to the input of another effect pedal Pedal Switch This switch turns the effect ON OFF CHANGING THE BATTERY When the LED indicator goes dim or no longer lights while the effect is ON the battery should be replaced Please replace the battery following the steps below e Press the upper part of the battery cover and remove it e Remove the old battery from the battery compartment and remove the snap cord connected to it e Connect the snap cord to the new battery and place the battery inside the battery compartment Be sure to match the batt
