9. 1 LAN Connection There are two external RJ 45 LAN connectors The RJ 45 connectors enable connection to an external network To connect a LAN cable with an RJ 45 connector please follow the instructions below Step 1 Locate the RJ 45 connectors The locations of the LAN connectors are shown in Chapter 3 Step 2 Align the connectors Align the RJ 45 connector on the LAN cable with one of the RJ 45 connectors on the NANO BT i1 See Figure 4 14 NANO BT i1 EPIC SBC Figure 4 14 LAN Connection Step 3 Insert the LAN cable RJ 45 connector Once aligned gently insert the LAN cable RJ 45 connector into the on board RJ 45 connector 4 5 2 PS 2 Keyboard Mouse Connection The NANO BT i1 has a single PS 2 connector on the external peripheral interface panel The PS 2 connector is connected to the optional PS 2 Y cable which can be purchased separately One of the PS 2 cables is connected to a keyboard and the other to a mouse to the system Follow the steps below to connect a keyboard and mouse to the NANO BT i1 Step 1 Locate the dual PS 2 connector The location of the PS 2 connector is shown in Chapter 3 Step 2 Insert the keyboard mouse connector Insert the PS 2 connector on the end of the PS 2 Y cable into the external PS 2 connector See Figure 4 15 NANO BT i1 EPIC SBC Figure 4 15 PS 2 Keyboard Mouse Connector Step 3 Connect the keyboard and mouse Connect the keyboard and mouse to the appropri
