3. ication that can be edited Sr Diameter XX XX mm Rate XX XX ml hr To Infuse XX XX ml Press Up Down arrow to change values Press Left Right arrow to move cursor Press Enter button to confirm changes Press Cancel button to cancel changes ERROR MESSAGES INFUSION PUMP INTERFACE SCREENS Error Message Display Description Low Battery Check the batteries in the infusion pump interface it is low and probably needs to be replaced soon Low Medication Check the medication left in the infusion pump it is low and probably needs to be refilled soon Air in line Carefully examine the infusion tubing for air bubbles Once the air bubble is located push the air bubble out to ensure that it is not infused into the patient High Pressure Carefully examine the infusion tubing to make sure nothing is blocking the medication Loose connection Check the connection between the infusion pump and the infusion pump interface it is probably loose Unplug the connection and connect it again to ensure connectivity BATTERY INSTALLATION 1 Stop infusion and turn off power 2 Locate the battery panel and carefully remove the cover 3 Remove old battery and replace with new battery 4 Check for secure battery connection to the battery connector 5 Close the battery panel 6 Turn power on CREDITS Dr John D Enderle Editor in Chief EMB Magazine Tim O Neil Lourdes H
