Qe US CIENTO User Manual Capacity 200g x 0 01g Weighing modes g 0z gn ct Thank you for purchasing US CIENTO digital scale Please read all operation instructions carefully before use Scales are precision instruments and should always be handled with proper care To ensure years of reliable service keep these simple tips in mind e Do not exceed the scales maximum capacity Overloading your scale can permanently damage it e Avoid exposure to extreme heat or cold Scales perform best at normal room temperature If temperatures have changed dramatically recalibration may be necessary e Allow your scale to acclimate to the room temperature for at least one hour before use e Store your scale in a clean dry location Dust dirt and moisture can accumulate on the weighing sensors and electronics causing inaccuracy or malfunction e Avoid using you scale in close proximity to strong radio wave emitting devices such as computers cash registers and cordless phones e Always weigh on a flat level surface free from vibrations and drafts The corner of a room is usually the most stable e Gently apply all items to be weighed Do not drop items onto the weighing platform e Avoid dropping your scale The warranty does not cover damage due to rough treatment or overload 1 SPECIFICATION Units emictloz S Display LCD display with green backlight 50 86F Power 2x AAA Batteries Dimensions 4 25 X 3 X 0 8
2. 2 OPERATION Place the scale on a horizontal flat surface 1 Press ON OFF button to turn the scale on and wait until 0 0 is displayed 2 Place the object s on the weighing platform 3 By pressing the M button you can switch between weighing units 4 To tare or Zero out the scale press the Tare button 5 Hold ON OFF to turn off the scale 3 CALIBRATION 1 Press ON OFF button to turn on the scale 2 Wait until 0 00 is displayed Press and hold the Pcs Cal button now the display flash CAL followed by 200 00g 3 Place a 200g weight on the center of the platform wait 3 seconds LCD display reads PASS and return to normal weighing mode Calibration is complete Note Repeat this process if something is going wrong 4 WARNINGS 1 LO Low voltage Please replace the batteries 2 O id Overload Please remove item quickly to protect the scale 5 OPERATING ENVIRONMENT The optimum operating temperature for the scale is 50 86 F 10 30 C Rough handling of the scale will damage the internal sensor so you must avoid actions such as shaking or dropping the scale This is sensitive electronic equipment and will be affected by things such as moisture extreme temperature changes magnetic fields careless handling and misuse Tested to comply with FCC standards
