3. 819mm 870mm 3214 Not supplied 4 Order seperately If the height of the enclosure is above 3474 870 mm use long supports as shown in the figure Li Notice e If the enclosure height is above 331 4 819mm order long legs and toe kick from the service Adjust the front foot level with the adjusting wrench to balance and raise the dishwasher to the enclosure height Adjust the rear foot level with a screwdriver to balance and raise the dishwasher to the enclosure height e Make sure the dishwasher is plumb and notice dishwasher can be placed with a small clearance under the counter top e Turning the screwdriver in the direction of the black arrows will bring the dishwasher back feet up e Turning the screwdriver in the direction of the white arrows will take the dishwasher rear feet down INSTALLING THE SIDE TRIM STRIPS 1 Remove the adhesive tape Figure A Place the trim strips on the front edge of the side walls Figure B Notice e Make sure you use the correct trim strip since there is a left and right side strip The flexible material should be facing forward Figure B PREPARING THE WATER CONNECTION A Install an easily accessible shut off valve not supplied in the water supply line All solder connections must be made before the water line is connected to the dishwasher s wat
4. 1 Prepare the wooden door with the mounting brackets Height Height of the wooden door 30 760 mm Width 23 to 23 7 592 mm 595 mm Thickness 19 mm 2 Remove the plastic mounting brackets from the dishwasher Figure B 16 3 Lay the schematic over the door from the bottom up and mark holes on the wooden door as shown in the drawing Figure A 4 Place the plastic mounting brackets over the marked holes and the side tabs must be flush with the edge of the wooden door Figure B 5 Attach the two mounting brackets to the wooden door by eight screws O 1 8 x 5 8 3 5 mm x 16 mm Figure C 17 6 Cutthe small tabs on the mounting brackets off Figure A 7 Cut the side tabs on the plastic mounting brackets off 8 Mount the wooden door onto the dishwasher with the plastic mounting brackets which you have attached Figure B 9 Open the door and remove the two caps and two screws inside the door at position 1 and 3 Figure C 18 10 Using the four screws O 316 111 16 4 mm x 43 mm provided attach the wooden door to the dishwasher at position 1 and 3 Figure A 11 Check the position of the wooden door and make sure itis aligned properly Figure B 12 Tighten the screws in position 1 and 3 completely after the final alignment Figure C 19 10 Check whether the bottom of the door it hits the toe kick of the kitchen cabinet or not A 13 1 If th

6. pushing the plastic tab on the dishwasher into the teeth of the bracket C 3 Now attach the toe kick to the bracket with the two 1 8 x 5 8 3 5 mm x 16 screws and the caps provided as follows If the enclosure height is below 331 46 840 mm use only labelled toe kick toe kick without slots Installation should be done following the steps illustrated in the Figures A B and C respectively 1 Bend tabs on toe kick n inwards A 2 Secure toe kick to brackets with screws r as shown in the supply bags B 3 Attach caps p as shown in the supply bags C 15 Figure B If the enclosure height is above 331 16 840 mm use and o labelled toe kicks together Make sure the slotted toe kick o is on the outside so you can adjust height of the toe kick Installation should be done following the steps illustrated in the figures A B and C respectively 1 Align the toe kick n and o A 2 Secure toe kicks to brackets with screws r after adjusting the height of the slotted toe kick o B 3 Attach caps p as shown in the supply bags C INSTALLING THE OUTER DOOR DW 34100 DW 35100 DW 36100 DW 36101 Measure the height and width of the enclosure Figure A and the toe kick Determine how big the wooden door can be for example if the height is 337 8 860 mm and if the toe kick is 3315 16 100 mm the door can not be taller than 2915 16 760 mm

13. er inlet valve Water can also be supplied to the dishwasher by using a flexible braided hose line Check with your plumbing supply sources for the proper hose and 90 elbow and necessary fittings for the water supply line This material is not supplied and must be purchased separately Z WARNING Installation should be performed by a qualified installer Work by unqualified persons could be dangerous and may void the warranty If the dishwasher is installed in a location that experiences freezing temperatures e g in a vacation home cabin etc you must drain all the water from the dishwasher s interior Water system ruptures that occur as a result of freezing are not covered by warranty INSTALLING THE 90 ELBOW FITTING B A CAUTION Do not over tighten the 90 elbow Doing so may damage the water inlet valve and cause a water leak If the water supply line is to be copper tubing make certain that the elbow has a compression fitting Apply Teflon tape or other pipe sealant when required Orient the water supply connection downwards as shown in the figure so the water line can be easily pulled underneath or on the side of the dishwasher JUNCTION BOX PREPARATION C Remove the junction box cover by removing the screws as shown in the figure They will be reinstalled later DRAIN PREPARATION The dishwasher drain hose may be connected to the drain plumbing in one of three ways Figure A Li Notice

17. ovided with the appliance if it will not fit the outlet have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician Install a strain relief not supplied into the opening on the the kick plate Figure A Pass the electrical supply cable through the strain relief make sure the strain relief clamps the insulated outer casing of your electrical supply cord and not the wires themselves Leave 215 16 to 315 16 75 mm 100 mm of insulated wire extending through the strain relief Figure B Tighten the strain relief screws Make sure you can not pull the electrical cord ou of the strain relief Do not pre twist the wires before connecting them with wire nuts Using the supplied wire nuts connect the electrical supply wires to the dishwasher s wires black to black white to white and green or bare to green or bare Make certain that the insulated wires show no bare wire from the bottoms of the wire nuts Gently tug the wires to make certain they are securely connected Figure C 13 Figure D FASTEN JUNCTION BOX 1 Pull the wires into the junction box Be sure that the wire nuts do not loosen 2 Replace the cover on the junction box 3 Secure the cover with the screws Figure D READJUSTING FOOT Now that the dishwasher is in the cabinet you must readjust the feet to bring the dishwasher up to the required height and attach it underneath the countertop 1 Readjust the front foot le
18. pply of 120 V 60 Hz AC connected to a dishwasher dedicated properly grounded electrical circuit with a fuse or breaker rated for 15 amperes ZAWARNING Electrical supply cords must be a minimum 14AWG Figure A copper wire Position the cable extending approximately 30 760 mm from the enclosure s back Figure A 5 To the right side position the cable extending approx approximately 57 140 mm Figure Figure B Remove 2 15 16 15 46 75mm 100mm of the cable s outer casing and then remove 3 8 1 2 9 13mm of J insulation from each wire Figure C Figure C PREPARATION FOR INSTALLING MOUNTING BRACKETS N WARNING Dishwasher must be secured to adjacent cabinetry using the mounting brackets provided Failure to do this may cause damage to property or bodily injury Place the two mounting brackets into the top corners of the dishwasher Bend sides of mounting brackets A In order to fix from sides if necessary i Notice e For these models DW 34100 NBLOO DW35100 NBLOO DW 36100 NBLOO DW 36101 NBLOO note that an extra bending should be done on the brackets as shown a ADJUSTING HEIGHT A Measure the height of the enclosure INSTALLING THE FOOT SUPPORTS 3414 819mm 870mm 3214 4 If the height of the enclosure is 337 16 to 3474 850 mm 870 mm use short supports as shown in the figure 3414
19. rough the side opening of the cabinet no hoses are kinked and all slack taken out as shown in the above figure DRAIN HOSE CONNECTION WATER SUPPLY amp ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS DRAIN HOSE CONNECTION Connect the drain hose to the drain plumbing 1 Use the supplied rubber connection hose and drain hose clamps to connect the dishwasher drain hose to the plumbing drain connection 2 Use the spring clamp to secure the rubber connection hose to the dishwasher drain hose Use the screw clamp to secure the rubber connection hose to the plumbing drain connection M U Note that the marks on the rubber connection hose should be on the drain hose side 11 WATER SUPPLY CONNECTION Water supply may be connected to the dishwasher in one of two ways e With metal braided hose e With copper tubing BRAIDED HOSE COPPER TUBING After connections are made turn on the water supply to check for leaks A CAUTION e Hot water supply line Use minimum 3 8 O D copper tubing or metal braided dishwasher supply line e Temperatures required for soldering and sweating will damage the dishwasher s water inlet valve so if any such operation is needed keep the heat source min 77 3 200 mm away from the dishwasher s water inlet valve e There should not be any sharp bends in the water line that may restrict the water flow e Teflon tape or pipe tread compound must be used for sealin
20. shwasher door must close without hitting any cabinetry or counter top e The inlet water supply is turned on and checked for leaks e Thedrain hose has been connected and checked for leaks There must be no kinks or obstructions in the drain hose e The drain hose must be installed with a 28 710 mm high drain loop for drain hook ups without any air removed e If the dishwasher drain is hooked up to a garbage disposer the drain hopper plug must be removed e The spray arms are free and rotate freely e The rinse cycle has been run e The water level will be below the filter screen after the end of the wash program It is normal to find some water in the drain filter area e Set the water softener to the correct water hardness for your area lf the dishwasher drain is connected to a garbage disposal make sure that the drain hopper plug has been removed FINAL INSTRUCTIONS 1 Press the On Off button to turn the dishwasher on 2 Power indicator light comes on 3 Use the Cycle Select button to choose a washing program 4 Start the program with the Start Pause button 5 Run the dishwasher through one complete cycle When the progress indicator light End lights up the wash cycle is completed Use the On Off button to turn the dishwasher off Notice If the dishwasher does not operate properly refer to the self help hints SELF HELP HINTS The power indicator light doesn t come on Check
