The lon450 comes with all filters fitted inside but you have to remove the packaging of the filters before you can use the air purifier Remove all filters unpack them and place them back into the unit as described below Tip Place the appliance against a wall for more stability when you remove or insert filters Note Make sure you insert the filters in the correct position and sequence Step 1 Place your fingers in the recesses of the side panels and gently pull the top part of the front panel towards you Then lift the hooks at the bottom of the panel out of the bottom of the unit Step 2 Remove pre filter from the unit Step 3 Remove HEPA filter from the unit EZ A LN Step 4 Remove Activated Carbon filter from the unit Step 5 Remove all packaging material from the filters Step 6 Place Activated Carbon filter back into the unit making sure that the side with the tab is facing you Step 7 Place HEPA filter back into the unit making sure that the side with the tab is facing you Step 8 Place Pre filter back in the unit making sure that the side with the tabs is facing you Step 9 To reattach the front panel insert the bottom hooks into the bottom of the unit first Then push the panel against the body of the unit CONTROL PANEL Sleep mode indicator Power lon button Speed button UV C button UV C light indicator
4. operate the unit on Auto mode The unit will adjust the fan speed according to the air quality Sleep mode button Press this button to operate the unit on Sleep mode The unit will continue operating and the LED display lights will turn off SLEEP MODE WARNING When pressing the SLEEP mode button the sleep mode indicator will light up for 10 seconds then all LED display lights will turn off but the appliance will keep operating on the previous settings Press any button to switch the LED display lights back on If the SLEEP mode button is not pressed the sleep mode indicator will light up for 10 seconds and the unit will go into sleep mode again Press the SLEEP mode button to turn sleep mode off FILTER REPLACEMENT INDICATOR When Replace Filter indicator lights up in blue it indicates that the HEPA and Activated Carbon filters need to be replaced Follow the instructions on Filter Replacement to change the filters After replacing the filters press the reset button to reset the indicator light The built in timer for the filter replacement indicator is 4 320 hours Note The HEPA filter and the activated carbon filter have a similar lifetime Therefore they have to be replaced every 6 months if used 24 hours daily or 12 months if used 12 hours daily Reset button FILTER REPLACEMENT PRE FILTER MAINTENANCE e The pre filter can be washed with water Dry it completely before replaci
