1. The AK800 amplifier power requirement is 220V AC 12A FUSE 6 Volume control There are 4 hidden volume controls for each channel respectively Do not attempt to service the products beyond that described in the manual All other serviceable should be referred to qualified service personnel FOUR CHANNEL POWER AMPLIFIER 7 LEDs The following is adescription ofallthe AK800 protection 1 PROTECTLED Indicates that one of the various protections safeguarding the different sections ofthe amplifier and the loudspeaker enclosure has tripped due to an operating fault In these cases the power outputis normally switched off until normal operating conditions are restored 2 CLIPLED Indicates the presence of distortion as a result of excessive input level or too low output impedance 3 SIGNALLED Indicates signal presence forreceptive channel 4 ACTIVE LED Indicates active status 8 Protection Features Each AK800 power amplifier incorporates several circuits to preventitself and the loudspeakers connected from short circuit DC voltage and overheating damage 1 Thermal Protection In the event of malfunction a sensor located on the power outputs is able to break the circuit avoiding that current peaks reach the speakers and damage them 2 DC Protection 3 Turn ON OFF Protection 4 Short circuit protection Trips inthe event of a short circuit or overload limiting the output current 9 Maintenance Correct cooling for

5. lert the user to important operating or Printed on maintenance instructions recycled paper FOUR CHANNEL POWER AMPLIFIER I Introduction AK800 amplifier has been designed using an advanced structural concept and qualified components to meet the most demanding requirements in the sound amplification field The AK800 amplifier has four independent channels Center channel Left channel Right channel Subwoofer channel 150W 150W 150W 500W 2 Operating Instructions Before connecting the amplifier to the power socket make certain that the voltage corresponds with that indicated on the rear of the unit a tolerance of 10 is acceptable Before connecting the power cable to the mains always make certain that it is not damaged and that there are no bare wires always connect the power cable to the amplifier before switching it on and only remove the cable after switching it off 3 Inputs There s a XLR connector for each channel respectively on the back panel of AK800 4 Outputs Each channel has a NL4 connector and a binding post connector connected in parallel Only loudspeakers within the amplifier s declared power and impedance load range should be connected to the amplifier s output The red binding posts are considered as hot connecting to the positive poles of loudspeakers the black binding posts connecting to the negative poles of loudspeakers 5 Power Supply Make sure power capacity of power outlet is correct
