Manual Section 3 Front Panel O peration Section 3 Front Panel Operation Front Panel Keys and Indicators T he installation of the AXIS AFP MIO interface adds new functions to the front panel of your HP printer T his chapter describes how to operate the front panel when the interface is installed in an HP Laser amp 4 printer T he front panel of the H P LaserJet 4 consists of a 16 character Plasma display eight function keys and three indicator lights The following explains how to use the frontpanel to customize the AXIS AFP MIO interface A schematic overview can be found in Appendix C Front Pand M enu OnLine T he On Line gt function key is used to take the printer off line or return it ed to the on line setting T he n Line gt light indicator lights when the printer is on lineT he printer will not print any pages when off line AXIS AFP MIO Coax User s Manual 37 Section 3 Front Panel O peration Changing the IPDS Coax Serial and Printer Options 38 Menu Reset Item Continue Item Continue Item Continue Important With the printer off line press the lt M enu gt key several times until MIO MENU or AUX IO MEN U is displayed Press the dtem gt key and CFG N O is displayed U sethe lt gt or lt gt function key to select between IPD S Coax Serial and Printer options Press the lt Enter gt key to select the desired option Press the dtem gt key to select the desired IPD
