LM 5 1 offers you the flexibility to change the frame size When you first open it the plugin has the Wide view with both Loudness Meter and True Peak Meter see Figure 1 Pressing the toggle button you can access the Narrow view with only the Loudness Meter see Figure 23 Note that there is a Peak Led indicator to let you if a peak occurs 20 Also you can use the relative scales with the reference level of 0 LU see Figure 21 In this case the scale is the same for both EBU and ATSC standards For the start the measurements for Integrated Loudness and Loudness Range are done considering the gate at 10 LU In this case the name of the standard is green If you chose no gate the name of the standards will be red see Figure 22 Meter Statistics Settings Peak 22 0 LUFS Integrated 21 9 LUFS Short Term 8 8 LU Range 00 00 56 15 i MLx LUFS DSP Figure 23 ALM5 1 Narrow view How it works DSP For the Integrated Loudness ALM 5 1 uses a color code This way you will know where your program loudness Is situated according to the accepted tolerance of each standard The accepted tolerance zone is basically the range of loudness that is comfortable to a listener Note that the Integrated Loudness may not be con Stant through the program It can vary within a zone according to the content requirements The color of Integrated Loudness parameter 1s green If the Integrated Loudness matches the s
