Select the desired temperature setting on the temperature control dial The power on indicator will glow indicating that heating cycle is on When the appliance reaches the desired temperature the indicator light will stop and the iron is ready for use This indicator light will cycle on and off as the appliance automatically maintains its operating temperature Select Steam position on the steam non steam button A BRiO Steaming will automatically commence NOTE When the iron is placed on its heel stand steaming will automatically stop BURST OF STEAM For a stronger short burst of steam simply press the Burst of Steam button B SPRAY To spray a fine film of water onto the clothing article simply press Spray button 1 WARNING Avoid contact with hot steam and hot surfaces Use caution in order to avoid personal injury Keep this appliance away from children and infirm persons WARNING Always empty the iron completely after use Do not let water sit in the iron NOTE The first time you use your appliance there may be a small amount of smoke and odour This is normal It is due to the heating of a protective coating placed on the heating elements to protect the heating elements during shipping WARNING Do not leave this iron on while unattended Always use the safety heel rest WARNING DO NOT LET SUPPLY CORD HANG OVER THE EDGE OF ANY BENCH OR TABLETOP THERE MAY BE A RISK OF SCALDING OR
