Illustrated Guides for ACH J LAMP Users Sakai Faculty User Manual PRESENTATION TOOL For Sakai 2 5 Lenoir Rhyne University Page of 2 LH M 4 Li Ss Presentation Tool Dustrated Guides for ACA J LAMP Users The Presentation Tool allows you to present a set of slides to many viewers You can control the viewing and pacing of the slide show for everyone or allow them to individually control it This is not a PowerPoint presentation but a slide show that shows fully prepared slides Captions will need to be embedded on the slide Presentation The setup of this tool is a bit different from the others You are going to begin If you want to add a PowerPoint mee using the RESOURCES tool presentation upload it with the RESOURCES tool Don t place it in the Presentations folder RESOURCES Choose RESOURCES from the list of tools on the left hand side of your screen Add Click the dropdown arrow next to Add and select CREATE FOLDERS CREATE Name the folder Presentations case specific Click Create Folders FOLDERS Now Click Add next to the Presentations folder and select CREATE FOLDERS again Name the folder with the title of your presentation or something that will differentiate it from other folders Click Create Folders Now Finally click Add next to the folder you named in the last step Upload your images to this folder It will accept any web displayable image file including gi2. f png and jpg PRESENTATION Choose PRESENTATION from the list of tools on the left hand side of your If you don t see the folder click screen REFRESH YUG You should see the name of the folder you named earlier You have the PELI option to VIEW or SHOW the presentation See the 2 notes below VIEW SHOW these are the faculty choices VIEW mode allows viewers to move through your presentation independently SHOW allows you to change the slide the student is seeing VIEW JOIN these are the student choices The student can user the JOIN mode to follow along as you move through your presentation Page 2 of 2
