5. are currently active on the server This allows you to rapidly configure accounts in the Domain Dashboard if you already have hundreds or thousands of domains e Note This feature will use the server root password for each of your domain accounts This will enable all the features of Domain Dashboard for these accounts If you prefer to use a specific domain password you must enter it manually for each domain To Retrieve Domains 1 Select the server from which you would like to gather domain information 2 Click the Retrieve Domains button Domain Dashboard will gather all of your domain information and populate your database 3 4 Import Domain information Domain Dashboard can also import domain information from a CSV file This allows you to import multiple domains associated with a server 3 3 Domains The CSV file must be formatted in the following way domainname username password If you want Domain Dashboard to use the WHM root password the CSV file only needs the following information domainname username Import Domains To import domains select the nickname of the WHM or cPanel server and click the Import Domains button in the Domains Panel Or right click the server name and select Import Domains from the context menu Name IP Addr 14 Export Domains Select the CSV file and click open and the file will be imported 3 5 Auto Login Double click the link icon in t

Domains 4 Inthe dropdown list beside Address select either http or https Note This you will be able to determine by looking at the URL the hosting company gave you when you setup your WHM Account http non ssl https ssl Important If this address is not configured properly Domain Dashboard will not be able to connect to your server 5 Inthe text box beside the http enter the IP address for this server ex 168 212 226 204 You may enter the domain name in place of the IP address for a cPanel server 6 Click a radio button to select the type of server WHM or cPanel 7 Enter the server username and password and click the Save button 3 2 Domains Every domain in the database is associated with a server Once a domain is configured domains statistics will be monitored in Domain Dashboard and displayed in the Statistics Panel To manually configure a domain you will need the cPanel username and password 1 Click the Domains button to open the Domains Panel 2 Enter the domain name in the format mydomain com 3 Enter the username and password for this domain 4 Select the server for this domain and click the Save button Note The server will determine what the cPanel address is for that domain 3 3 Retrieve Domains This feature automatically enters domain account information Once you have defined your servers you may use the Retrieve Domains feature to gather all domain names and usernames that

10. at will be used for each domain account creation followed by a number Select what number should be used to begin the series e Warning A unique username must be used or account creation will fail The username cannot be currently in use Option 2 Use Domain Name This option will use the first 8 letters of the domains Password Option 1 Enter a username that will be used for each domain account creation Option 2 This option will randomly generate a password for each domain account Contact Email Optional This email will be used for each domain account created as the contact email for that domain Step 2 Enter Domains Enter all of the domain names that you want domain accounts created for Domain must be entered one per line and can be entered in any format http www mydomain com Or www mydomain com Or mydomain com Step 3 Create Accounts 7 2 Mass Account Creation In this step you may preview of all the domain account that will be created This is your opportunity to review all the usernames and passwords before the account creation process begins When all the data has been verified select Create Accounts This will begin the account creation process Note This feature was not made to be extremely fast for a reason So please be patient This is doing all the manual labor for you After the account creation is complete you will be asked if you would like to add the successfully created accounts to th
11. atistics click the Update button under the Traffic tab on the Statistics Panel and choose the domains and sub domains you wish to update e Note You must have Awstats in your cPanel account for this function to work properly e All traffic statistics are calculated from the beginning of the current month 4 3 Backlinks The Backlinks tab displays the total number of links pointing to that domain based on the results from Google Yahoo and MSN and monitors changes from the last update and indicates whether the number of backlinks has increased decreased or remains the same To update backlinks click the Update button in the Backlinks tab on the Statistics Panel Domain Dashboard will search Google Yahoo and MSN for each domain selected When the update is complete all of the page indexed information is added to the database O Green indicates an increase in the amount of pages indexed Blue indicates no change in the pages indexed 9 Red indicates a decrease in the pages indexed gt To see a chart of pages indexed click the information icon next to the domain name Click the save button to save the chart as a PDF 4 3 Statistics 4 4 PageRank This section will gather PageRank data for each domain selected Domain Dashboard will search using http www so keep this in mind when checking the PageRank results in a browser 4 5 Robots Spiders This tab displays the top 25 Robots or Spiders that have recently visite
12. d This section is updated when Traffic statistics are updated gt If no robots or spiders were recorded for a particular domain the domain will not appear on the list 4 6 Filter Statistics The Filter Statistics button allows you to view statistics for selected domains on all tabs Click a server name to select all domains associated with that server or select individual domains click the plus sign to open the domain tree and hold the Ctrl key while clicking to select multiple domains for the filter Then click each tab to see filtered statistics in that category 4 7 Export Statistics The Export Statistics button creates a workbook with all statistical information for selected domains gt If you have filtered the statistics only data for the selected servers and domains will be exported 4 4 CHAPTER V KEYWORDS Keywords 5 Keywords This section allows you to manage and track all of you keywords 5 1 Keyword Manager The Keyword Manager allows you to define maintain and share keyword lists among multiple domains gt When you update Traffic statistics keyword phrases from Awstats are automatically added to your keyword lists for each domain gt You may also edit keyword lists by clicking on the list icon next to the server or domain name 2 The keyword files are saved in Program Files Domain Dashboard bin keywords DOMAIN DASHBOARD gp Dashboard Keyword Manager Keyword Rankings naire Name Total Keywo
13. e 1 5 Options This section is where you can password protect Domain Dashboard enable proxy support add your Google key and select the statistics update speed 2 For more information on these options refer to the Options section of this guide 1 6 Quick Setup e Before you begin gather all of your WHM server IP addresses usernames and passwords Important You must ensure that this information is correct otherwise Domain Dashboard will not work properly 1 Click the Domains button to open the Domains Panel re 2 Click the Server Button in the Domains Panel to add a Server Nickname Notes Address http E Username i Password O cPanel Es Retrieve Domains Save 3 Enter a nickname to identify this server 4 Select either http or https from the address dropdown Address Username Password http is a non ssl server https is an ssl server 1 5 Quick Start 5 In the address text box enter the IP address for this server e Note For cPanel domains you may enter the domain name in place of the IP address Example If your webhost gives you an address like this https 201 214 99 131 2087 select https from the dropdown menu and enter 201 214 99 131 in the address box 6 Enter the username and password for this domain and click the save button 1 7 Retrieve Domain information 1 S

20. t will load This is essential since so much vital information will be stored in Domain Dashboard There is also an option to disable password display Domain Dashboard When this option is selected all passwords are displayed as 8 2 Proxy Support This option enables proxy support This is helpful if you receive a no response error from either Yahoo or MSN Otherwise it is not necessary 8 3 Google API Key This option will allow you to monitor more domain pages indexed in Google before you receive a no response error Please obtain a Google Key to be used with Domain Dashboard You may add multiple keys to this area If update more than 1 000 domains you should obtain more than one key 8 4 Statistics Update Speed If you are concerned about server resources you may lower the number of threads used for the update 8 2 CHAPTER 9 TROUBLESHOOTING Troubleshooting 9 Troubleshooting This section will provide you information on how to determine the cause and hopefully solution to an error or problem with Domain Dashboard 9 1 Common Problems Address not entered properly This will cause all of the features of Domain Dashboard not to work properly Check to make sure the WHM Address is using the proper ssl or non ssl http or https Ensure you used the main IP address to your WHM account Traffic Statistics Not Updating 1 Make sure that Awstats is enabled on all the domains you are trying to retrie
21. ve Traffic stats from 2 Check the domains to ensure they are associated with the correct WHM Account 3 Lower the update speed in the Options section If the server is overloaded with requests it may time out Pages Indexed Not Updating Ensure that no other programs are interfering with Domain Dashboard connecting to the Search Engines APIs Applications such as Zone Alarm will prevent Domain Dashboard from obtaining the Pages Indexed statistics Packages are not listed for Mass Account Creation If you do not see the packages listed for you WHM Account this could be because you only have the default package in you WHM Account To solve this problem just go to the Packages section of you WHM Account and add another package Once this has been added verify that it is listed in the Edit Packages screen Once you see it is listed in the Edit Packages screen you can then try it in Domain Dashboard again 9 2 Support Tickets If you are not able to find the solution to your problem in the user manual visit the Support Center at www gunghotechnologies com for additional troubleshooting information submit a support ticket 9 3 Backing up the database To back up the database find the data folder in Program Files Domain Dashboard bin data folder Save all the files in the data folder except the options d file to a safe location and this serves as your backup of the database To restore the database copy the backup data folder to
