3. and know all the safety precautions to be taken before using the device 2 1 In General CEYA SMART has been designed to safely apply radiofreguency currents to the human body With the appropriate use and maintenance the device can be used by propery trained and qualified personnel assuring their complete and total safety All personne responsible for the use and maintenance of the device should be familiar with the safety instructions of this manual The most important matter should be the safety of the patient the operator and other personnel During the design process of the CEYA SMART special attention was paid to those elements assuring safety We will now detail some of these safety mechanisms Maximum levels of power density that can be considered safe Security control button for the client Continuous monitoring of the correct connection between accessories Continuous monitoring of the key board Watch Dog software security timer which controls the correct functioning of the software at any time 2 2 Technical warnings and precautions The device can obly be used by qualified personnel The user s instructions should be kept nearby the device Read this manual carefully before installing and using the device For technical assistence contact the manufacturer or your authorised distributor only The accessories can only be used with this device Stop using an accessory as soon as it present

5. network cable which is connected to the electrical installation An appropriate earthing is essential in order to assure a safe use of the device The input lines must be free of tension or current peaks tension drops or overcharges The protector fuses in the devices are A for a 10V tension or 3 A for a 220V tension The device comes with one fuse In case this one melts down it must be replaced by one with the same characteristics in order to assure safety and avoid the risk of a fire outbreak Warning Make sure the CEYA has been configurated correctly according to your local electricity network tension 3 4 Environmental reguirements Quality of the air CEYA must be operated in a non corrosive athmosphere Corrosive materials such as acids can damage the electricity cables and the electronic components Metal dust is destructive for electrical devices Temperature In order to assure CEYA functioning at its best we recommend a room temperature of 20 C to 25 C and a relative humidity below 80 Chapter 4 User s Instructions This chapter contains detailed instructions for the use of CEYA SMART Safety Warnings Dangerous tensions exist inside the device The devices pannels cannot be removed under any circunstances CEYA generates high tension radiofrequency energy For a safe application the active and passive plates must be applied correctly to the skin of the treatment area An inappropriate positioning of the
6. the operator s intervention in order to deblock the treatment by pressing the START STOP button 4 3 Figure 1 1 Chapter 5 Maintenance 5 1 General ideas CEYA requires the following periodical maintenance Before starting a treatment the isolating material of the active plate must be checked carefully for imperfections damages to the surface scars in the isolation or ant other type of imperfection Do not use the active plate if you find any kind of damage to its surface Before starting the treatment the cables and connectors of the active and passive plates should be checked Do not use them if you find any kind of damage and replace them with impeccable accessories After each treatment the active and passive plates should be cleaned carefully This way you will enlarge their life expectation Do not use agressive products such as acids ammonia etc to clean the outside of the device We recommend you regularly inspect the device and its components Contact you distributor whenever you detect any kind of anomaly Warning The CEYA system cannot be repaired by the user Any repair has to be done by the manufacturer or authorized personnel 5 2 Time schedule for maintenance and calibration In the following schedule are detailed the regular maintenance operations required by CEYA IE IS Checking the isolation of the active and passive plates Before each treatment User Checking the cables and connectors of the acc

12. essories Before each treatment User Visual check up of the central Checking the configuration and E the calibration of the device E Seel Bioinside S L 5 3 Supply of technical information Upon request plans of circuit boards lists of components descriptions calibration instructions and other information will be supplied to appropriatly gualified technical personnel in order to help them repair those parts of the device the manufacturer considers repairable 5 4 Manufacturer s liability BLONSIDE S L is responsable for the safety re liability and functioning of the device only when assembly amplification adaptions modifications or repairs are done by personnel authorized by Blonside S L The electrical installations of the corresponding rooms where the device is connectged meet the appropriate requirements The device has been used according to the instructions detailed in this manual All responsability is declined in case of damaged caused to persons or to objects as a consequence of the incorrect use of the device failure to maintain it or an inappropriate maintenance or the failure to observe the indications detailed in this manual 5 6 Warranty The CEYA device remains under warranty for a period of 12 months after its purchase except in case of manipulations interventions or interferences performed by non authorized personnel or any kind of negligence in the use of the device The
13. gy counters Buttons 3 1 3 2 and 3 3 Figure 1 2 Restart the treatment returning all the parameters to their default values Button 4 4 Figure 1 2 During the treatment no accessory should be disconnected When disconnecting an accessory during the treatment the treatment immediately comes to a stop and an alarm icone appears in the display Icone n 3 Table 5 1 and the device emits a sound signal Once the device has entered in this state it is not possible to return to the treatment and the only possible action is the start up a new treatment 4 4 Safety command The safety command is an element that requires pressing a button in order to activate the outlets allowing the patient to immediately detain the treatment in case of an emergency When the button is connected but not being pressed an informative icone appears on the display icone n 2 table 5 1 and it is not possible to activate the outlet because the START STOP button remains disabled The option to activate the outlets will only be available while the safety button is being pressed If during treatment the safety button is let go off the treatment will be automatically stooped and the device will emit a sound signal and an informative icone will appear on the display Icone n 2 Tabel 5 1 If this occurs the outlets will not activate when pressing the safety button again the device will remain in a state of pause and it will take
