6. application firmware self contained database self contained Time Attendance amp Access Control software etc How to start 1 Contact your product supplier for the latest upgrade files copy them to a thumb drive and plug it onto IDF 700 USB port as below photo shows 35 2 1 Click Update Firmware for upgrading system firmware only 2 2 Click Install Database for replacing database files with the latest version This action will delete all the registered users and their attendance access records but WILL NOT delete the enrolled fingerprint templates You will also have to execute Delete All Fingerprints after you upgrade database For how to Delete All Fingerprints please refer to page 6 BSystem Maintenance point 3 2 3 Click Install ASP for upgrading self contained Time Attendance amp Access Control software 2 4 Click Install System upgrading above 3 tasks in one time 3 Unplug the thumb drive from IDF 700 once the upgrade completes IX Data download amp upload through USB Plug your USB thumb drive onto your IDF 700 close the System Kits screen and you will get below screen 36 Download Users Download Attendance Records Download Photos Register Users for importing user data in TXT into IDF 700 If you have ever generated users of IDF 700 through its built in web application you may run Download Users to download existing user data TXT to the thumb drive file name AD700_User_DI txt and
