7. ick connector ZN WARNING Prior to performingany assembly and oradjustment procedures make sure theair supply hose notincluded is disconnectedfrom the DieGrinder Combo 1 Prior touse the DieGrinder Combo requiresthe attachment ofa quick connector into its airinlet Todo so wrapapproximately 3 of pipe threadsealer tape not included around themale threads ofa quick connector Then firmlytighten the quick connector intothe air inlet Regulator Recommended Air Line Components Fig 1 Operateas a 1 4 Die Grinder 1 Always wear ANSI approved safety glasses a full faceshield and hearingprotection when operating thetool 2 Use thetwo wrenches provided toloosen the colletnut 3 Insert the 1 4 diameter shank ofa grinding drum not included fullyinto the collet Then firmly re tightenthe collet nutto lock boththe collet and grinding drum inplace 3 0f 5 4 Connect theair supply hoseto the quick connector onthe Die Grinder Turnon the air set its regulator tothe recommended 90 PSI for the Die Grinder 5 IMPORTANT Grip the appliance firmly with BOTH hands 6 Tripthe safetywith your finger Then slowlyapply hand pressureto the triggeruntil the desired speedis obtained NOTE The toolalways turns the Grinding Drum Drill Chuck clockwise Seefig 2 ue 7 TRIGGER SAFETY Fig 2 7 With firmgrip on the Die Grinder lightly apply the Grinding drum tothe workpie
