5. chapter for more information Check out with Lets patrons check out materials even if they have fines fines 70 Spectrum CIRC CAT Reference Manual SCC5rm1200tb Option Description Check out with overdues Lets patrons check out materials even if they have overdue materials Renew overdues Lets patrons renew overdue materials The program still assigns a fine to a patron for the time the item was overdue before being renewed Exceed renewal limit Lets patrons renew materials more times than normally allowed for those materials All materials in your database have a set number of times that they can be renewed according to the renewal limits you set in Material Type Setup Set their own due date Lets patrons set their own due date for materials When you check out a material to a patron with this privilege a window opens and asks what due date the patron wants The patron can use the default loan period the material s loan period or request a different date Checkout limit Restricts the number of materials a patron can have checked out at one time to the amount entered here Display materials currently out Shows in the Circulation window the titles of materials that a patron has checked out You may want to suppress this display for a patron type that typically checks out hundreds of books such as another library branch or a classroom However the default option setting is to
