I SENNHEISER Sennheiser electronic GmbH amp Co KG Am Labor 1 30900 Wedemark Germany Tel 49 0 5130 600 0 Fax 49 0 5130 600 300 www sennheiser com Connection of Pro M 1012 to PC Dirk Schmelzer DIS Procedure Install Pro M 1012 Configuration Manager on your PC Version 2 004 Install USB RS 232 adaptor cable according to the instructions supplied with it In the Windows device manager make sure that the cable has been installed on one of COM 1 4 ports Run K H Configuration Manager go to TRANSMIT RECEIVE gt CONNECTION and set the com port to the same number as the Windows device manager Connect Pro M 1012 and switch it on Press PROGRAM MODE key turn rotary encoder until you read GENERAL SETTINGS then push rotary encoder Turn rotary encoder again until you read MIDI IN press the right arrow key and turn the rotary encoder until you can read OFF then push the rotary encoder Turn rotyra encoder one step further until you read MIDI OUT press the right arrow key and turn the rotary encoder until you can read OFF then push the rotary encoder Press PROGRAM MODE key again The Pro M 1012 is now ready to transmit receive projects as described in the user manual Notes Due to the wide selection of available USB to RS 232 adaptor cables on the market today Sennheiser cannot guarantee that the procedure described above will work with all cable types If a particular USB to RS 232 adaptor cabl
