2. 4 2 2 RAID Installation To install a Windows operating system when the hard disk is working in RAID mode you should first enable the RAID feature in CMOS settings Make sure the OS setup disk is integrated with the RAID driver of Intel Matrix Storage Technology For an OS setup disk which is not integrated with the RAID driver such as WinXP Win2003 you should get the RAID driver from the CD ROM supplied with the product or download it from the website of Synway and integrate it into the OS setup disk No integration of the RAID driver probably results in the failure of installing operating systems The installation of RAID arrays is basically similar to that in common systems 4 2 3 OS Installation See Appendix B to find how to install different Windows operating systems 4 2 4 Driver Installation 1 Adopt the SCU driver in the CD ROM supplied with the product or download it from the website of Synway 2 Install the corresponding hardware drivers such as the network card driver the video card driver the sound card driver and the chip set driver according to driver support and your requirements Special notes on the driver e In OS Windows 2003 the highest display resolution of the on board video card for SCU03 and SCUO3 3 is 1280X1024 The video memory size is 32M no need to load additional on board video card driver e RCUO2 and RCU04 are integrated into a LAN9500 USB network card This network card is not supported
