MATRIX II INSECT LIGHT TRAP USER S MANUAL equipment company Safety Precautions e Connect unit only to 120V 60Hz electrical supply e This unit is only for indoor use do not expose to water or excess humidity e Use a grounded extension cord with 3 terminals always use an electric outlet that is properly grounded Before Starting e Inspect unit for any damage that may have occurred during shipping e Do not discard original shipping box and wrapping material until you have tested the unit and determined it is working properly e Before returning a damaged trap ask your distributor for instructions or contact B amp G for a Returned Goods Authorization Trap Uses and Placement e B amp G ultra violet light traps can be used year round to control flies and some other flying insects indoors e Installation can be made in residential and commercial kitchens food preparation areas food storage rooms and the dining areas of restaurants and cafeterias e Position light trap away from direct sunlight place in dark area of the room e Position light traps to allow for changing bulbs and glue boards e Position light traps so that it is visible from all areas of room especially doors that open to the outside Trap Installation e Select a site for the light trap where employees are not required to work continuously in close eye level proximity or within 3 feet of a unit such as over a sink or table e Select a sit
