OK Back Select Back High Penetration Alerting HPA is a feature on the Thuraya XT which allows you to receive a notification of an incoming call even if your SAT signal is too weak to actually receive the call itself This is particularly useful when the Thuraya XT is in your pocket with the antenna stowed and only has a weak signal SAT call find improved reception oe To receive calls in HPA mode 1 Move to a place with an improved signal 2 Fully extend the antenna of your Thuraya XT 3 As soon as the signal strength is strong enough the HPA warnings disappear from the display Now you can accept the call as usual by pressing ka 02 Getting started Conference Calls Incoming calls When A is in a call with B and A receives a call from C A can either accept the call from C or reject it If the call is rejected the conver sation between A and B is not affected If the call is accepted B is put on hold and A is connected to the call with C Using the option menu A can swap between B and C or operate a conference call with up to 6 users Outgoing calls When A is in a call with B and A wants to call C go to Option menu gt New call This puts the call with B on hold and A can dial C s phone number To include B in the conversation with C A can go to Option menu gt Multiparty Using the option menu A can swap between B and C or operate a conference call with up to 6 users Private Calls
