1. 4510 CE X Product name 03 11 2014 V3 0 User Manual General This wireless Optiscan detects when a person intends to leave the bed This Optiscan works in combination with the corresponding Daza receiver which get its power supply form the nursecall system Installation and use Connect the receiver with the nursecall system using the connector cable figure 1 nursecallsystem o connection cable gt receiver Figure 1 Receiver Optiscan placement Place the sensor on the floor facing the bed figure 2 Make sure that the sensor is placed safely where it can cause no harm to the inhabitant for example underneath a chair or table It is highly preferable to place it at a distance of at least 2 meters from the bed The sensor has a 90 degrees field of view over a distance of approximate 7 meter Make sure that no objects are in front of the sensor that can block its view figure 3 Switching on 1 The sensor is always on you need to switch on the receiver in order to receive the alarms press the orange button 2 Leave the room 3 The sensor switches itself on automatically once no movement across the floor has been detected for fifteen seconds Figure 3 Viewing angle sensor Switching off 1 Walk into the room and switch the receiver off press the orange button 2 If applicable reset the alarm on the nurse call system Between detection of movement and activation of the transmitter there is2. a delay of 2 seconds This gives you the chance to deactivate the sensor before the transmitter is activated It is possible to extend this delay by an extra 3 or 5 seconds You can do this by moving jumper 2 to position three or five figure 4 Daza Opticare BV follows a policy of continuous improvement in the development of its products The technical data can therefore be changed without notice This product is classified as an electrical and electronic device When you decide to discard this product please ensure that this is done accordance with the European Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment WEEE and compliant with local laws relating to this directive Page 1 of 2 4510 Ce X Product name 03 11 2014 V3 0 User Manual Battery empty warning When the Optiscan battery is almost empty you get the 3 following messages The LED behind the Optiscan lens blinks red every 5 seconds Sensor eiament The LED in the receiver blinks red every 2 seconds r The receiver beeps 4 times when switching on an off bl FAR ORABD Battery replacement Only replace this with a 3 6 volt lithium cell of size 2 3 AA Caza Correct operation can only be guaranteed when an original battery of the brand TE Saft type LS17330 is used Daza partnumber 7083 Remove the 4 screws on the rear of the Optiscan housing Replace the battery in accordance with Fig 3 Please note Plus pole on the right side A
