F3 lite Uno oei SRi SURGE PROTECTED LE E MAINS FILTER USER MANUAL Thank you for purchasing this Wychwood Audionics F3 Filter please read this manual carefully before use The F3 is equipped with surge protection and EMI RFI filtration to protect you and your equipment Its hard wired design star earthed filtered power high current ability and grounded alloy enclosure also ensures your system always sounds its best L 4 Af wru AI oy NYCHWOOD seca PROTOCTEO It is a simple device to use you will require a 13 amp fused IEC terminated power lead kettle lead to provide power we recommend Supra s LoRad range which we can supply Any audio device can be plugged in to the F3 using power leads equipped with a UK 3 pin mains plug Each such lead must have a properly rated fuse for the appliance connected your equipment manufacturer can advise on the appropriate rating Each connected device should be switched on individually once the F3 is live The maximum safe load connected to the F3 should not exceed 3500 Watts 16 Amps For reference a typical hifi system will draw between 200 1000 Watts 1 4 Amps Surge The F3 s surge protector is live as soon as it is plugged in and switched on at the wall It is working as long as the indicator light is lit If The light is extinguished it has reached the end of its life and you should contact us to arrange replacement The F3 will continue to work2. in the meantime but surge protection will be disabled EMI RFI Filter This isa 16 Amp rated passive device which requires no maintenance Sockets these are unswitched earthed 13 Amp UK 3 pin types with a strong polycarbonate structure As with all plastics these can become brittle in sub zero temperatures so please use carefully in such conditions Power Inlet Standard C14 10 Amp IEC type Comments as above Enclosure This is a star earthed anodised aluminium alloy extrusion Anodised metalwork can 2 scratched by sharp items so please treat carefully Feet Vibration absorbing silicone rubber AcoustiFeet are fitted as standard to protect surfaces the unit stands on and ensure vibration is not transferred to connected equioment NB silicone rubber can have small amounts of release agents present which can sometimes mark absorbent surfaces General precautions e Live electricity may be present inside do not open e No user serviceable parts inside opening or modifying the unit invalidates all warranties amp certifications e Do not use in wet conditions for indoor domestic A V use only e Do not use wet cleaning agents or solvents a dry cloth suffices e Do not overload the device e Do not disconnect any earth lines e Use only properly CE certified power cables and appropriate fuses e Do not drop or shake the unit e Do not cover the unit or stand any heavy items upon i
